Close: I'd Make it Diablo 2 > Titan quest > Diablo 3(just because I disagree with some of their decisions, and their incredible arrogance towards those with slower internet connections like myself(26.4k dial-up). Depending on how good POE is, it may or may not edge out Diablo 3. Torchlight and Torchlight 2 are at the bottom of my list, I can't stand the graphical style of Torchlight, and the item finding in it stinks: Oh look, I found *Insert set item name here* 30 levels later: Oh look, I found EPIC *Insert same set item name as above*. Same for unique items as well. I can't count how many unique items I found, then found again with the prefix "Epic" in front of it >< To damn lazy to even make different names for their items, or different stats either. The quests were pretty horrid as well, and the end-boss was pure shit >< Nothing more then a "Pack 100 heal potions, and spend the next 20 minutes grinding his health down" thing. BORING.

Sacred 2 is somewhere in the middle I'd say.

Oh I have to say this:

Diablo III has a really depth lore plus the trademark, huge advantage there since the only thing they need not to do(and Blizz rarely do) it's screw up their next release, there's a big mob with torchs and forks out there waiting for their shiny little game and that isn't arguably(although I really hate some of the desicions they have made for the game like Health Globes and 4 Players Max and I could go on and on).

Runic Games has Matt Uelmen and some of the staff from Blizz North, for their credit it was them that made the awesomeness of D1 and D2 and they already have a first attempt with a relative success at doing their own stuff hence they can do and probably will do better at Torchlight II.

And yet i'd found myself much intrigued and attracted over GGG and POE being their first attempt(I believe)I have to agree with most of Youtube coverage i've seen, it's graphics and gameplay feel really akin to the genre, in regards to this has all the good things that the previous two offer, plus huge customization and innovative char development(I got shocked when I saw Totalbiscuit's WTF is... and later when I learned it is at unfinished beta state so there's room for more improvements) by having all that and I'ts F2P approach I think is really really very Hard for them to fail.

Sure , blizz has not failed so far. But thats also a thing about it , with time , you get bored cause you know already at the start that there isn´t anythiong as good or will be as good or better as the titel you just got.

But now there are titels with the potential to be just as great . Plus GGG seem to listen alot to there fans and have a good , fast , working relationship with them, And that is how great games are made.

FYI, you can't use the RMAH in PoE's hardcore either.

PoE =/= D 3 , also this comment was so irrelevant it hurts my eyes just to read it .

If not being able to use the RMAH in hardcore bothers you to the point where you it makes you not want to play the game, then why would you play a game without one? Obviously the RMAH is something that makes or breaks the game, and yet you don't mind it's absence in PoE. In fact, I'd go as far to say Path of Exile doesn't have RMAH or hardcore, because I'd be hard pressed to call PoE's "you still get to live, you're just not cool anymore" mode "hardcore."

I'm hoping the open beta starts before Diablo 3 is released. I'm hoping to give this a chance before D3 sucks me in.

I personally think Blizzard really uses Diablo III just to earn money. From the gameplay that I saw it's nothing compared to Diablo II, PoE or Torchlight II (gameplay). Even the graphics of this fantastic game are better! This game is really promising and it's free to play! If some more people would know this game, Diablo III loses his throne.

I want to play all 3 but I really do like the dark look of this game and I hope more games like this keep coming out.
