Ditch the legacy gear, up your clear speed and run as higher Torments as possible. Find the golden middle.

My clear speed is also low at T4 for example, so I don't run it, I might get to T3 soon, but I need more survivability, I'm a glass cannon WW Barb, I get destroyed on T4+.

Just don't run on Normal if you can do T1+, you will get a lot more legendaries and gold, not to mention the experience.
I would stab myself in the eye if I were to play on Normal.

I normally do this. I have a legacy tempest rush build that I get on from time to time. I get the same legendary rate regardless.

You're missing out on set items though man.
People complain that there are legs that are glorified rares, yet they praise that rares are BiS in PoE. That doesnt make much sense to me.

Yeah because PoE's itemization isn't exactly more of a pile of shit then D3's like fuck NOTHING is fucking special about most of them. MOST OF THEM you salvage again

and again
and again
and again

or if your like me FOR TWELVE FUCKING HOURS /rage

PoE's itemization could use work but it's not D3's

PoE you got fucking shit that changes the game like lets say Wind ripper or fucking Shavs shit like that you know? The fuck do you get in d3 TWO HANDERS which you salvage and more shit that you can possibly imagine.

No... Sorry my post was confusing. I normally run T1-T2. However, sometimes I run my Tempest Rush build on normal. It's fun :-)

I play RoS every week. I get a legendary approximately every 45 minutes to an hour though I sometimes go 2 hours without one. If you are getting 3-6 legs an hour then not only am I playing a completely different game, everyone else on the D3 forums is as well...

Before i got stuck with a crappy laptop i mostly played on T4 and used Sprint with forced march and the belt that gives 40% movement speed to war cry. So if you actually try you can increase your drops significantly.

Still, have you ever tried playing poe without trading? It is like playing a korean MMO.

It doesn't?
Seriously?

So a system where uniques are unique but rares can roll stronger is the same thing as a system where legendaries are the same as rares, but almost always stronger?

You don't understand that there's a difference? Or you don't understand how someone could prefer one over the other?
