You and economics..you are not big friends right? Hilarious is your claim my friend..

Game is based on microtransactions ..microtransactions works only if tons of players are playing and paying..if PoE will lost most of their current playerbase..thse guys who will pay 500$ wont keep it above the water..because there will be not enough of them.. this is fact..not theory...or hypothesis..

It's not about threatening ... I love this game as much as you do.. I want them to succeed as much as you do. But I understand when they will keep their premise ..that they are doing game for hardcore crowd and hardcore crowd only..this game wont survive these 10 years..probably not even 2..

You clearly have no idea what u are talking about, they are using a NPR model which has been proven to work.

The fact of the matter is a few thousand people playing for years and buying things is worth more than tens of thousands of people buying one thing than quitting. The masses go from game to game complaining then leave shortly later regardless of any changes.
The game does not adapt to you, you adapt to it.

This game is GOOD.
Instanced loot BREAKS the game in HUGE ways.
Spoiler

Loot is calculated by last hit, and with support gems, sometimes even which spell killed each mob. Making loot instanced is the DUMBEST idea and actually doesn't fix ANYTHING.

Why are people mad? Because they didn't get the loot they wanted. Will Instanced Loot fix this problem? NO. Other players will still get the items THEY need and they will need to trade for them.

THE ENTIRE BASIS OF THIS GAMES LOOT SYSTEM IS TRADING AND BARTERING.

The ONLY items they should make instanced IF they ever do make items instanced would be Orbs. And that's only because they count as Currency Items.

Another idea would be make ALL items unable to be picked up until all mobs close by are dead.
But even this slows down game-play and basically breaks what GGG's plans for this game are.

I also find the "slowing down" the game argument hilarious. The only thing you can do to guarantee you get something you need is to loot everything, otherwise you will lose it to someone else. In a game where you can't un-do your decisions easily, with all this emphasis on thinking through pretty much permanent passive-tree decisions, it doesn't make sense to make gear split-second decisions.

If you cannont understand how 5 people standing over and object waiting for a bar to count down slows game pace there is really nothing else to say to you. You clearly have no cognitive ability and to try to convince you of one thing or another would be a fools task.

Nice response, thanks for bringing something to the table besides arrogance.
The game does not adapt to you, you adapt to it.

I should revise my above post to say three fanboys. At any rate, you'll care when the game shuts down sue to a lack of funding due to a lack of interest in anything cosmetic when none plays in groups anymore.

LOL ok bud I'm just one person but many like me.

I spent $15 in closed for supporter. Got on a payment plan to upgrade to gold before the end of CB. Then I just spent another $10 because I wanted more stuff while I wait to finish out my gold payment plan.

Yeah games really going to close...

I'm sure plenty like me out there that are not cheap. Things I do not like about the game (very few) I'm not sitting on the forums demanding they change it lol.

Nothing in this world that you will ever 100% like.

Loot is calculated by last hit, and with support gems, sometimes even which spell killed each mob.
Lets say I have 500% rarity and 200% quantity.
If I last hit a mob and it drops a Unique and 4 yellows and 20 blues BECAUSE of my build that I specifically built to be more profitable. I tell you right now I'll be taking whatever the hell I want.

Instanced loot is the difference between the person with the lowest latency getting all of the good gear and everyone who contributed getting a cut. How do you expect someone to barter if the gear they can sell/currency they can pick up is taken instantly by someone with a better connection?

And I ask you how would you be able to kill any mob with all +rarity and +quantity gear without the people not set up that way that are actually able to tank/deal decent damage. The point being that someone with just +rarity and +quantity is pretty much just a leecher and doesn't deserve 95% of the loot. Its against the concept of a team player.
no one is requesting INSTANCED LOOT.

maybe 1 out of 100 requests here is for instanced loot. Why do you all keep repeating INSTANCED loot where that isnt even requested or talked about ?
While I don't agree with the OP point of view regarding the FFA loot system being the downfall of PoE financially, I can see how the loot system would be a turn off for many players. The way that GGG has designed PoE with different leagues available, the simple solution would be to have leagues that us the current FFA loot system then have leagues that feature an instance drop loot system. That way players can choose their preference.

Regardless, PoE will do just fine financially either way.
