Shit, I've got awful DSL 768k internet and I still play this game fine.

So the internet thing is still an option, yeah?

So are the friends?

And the glass cannon thing?

And the efficiency thing?*

I wouldn't say that internet is an option because someone playing games at a high skill level would obviously have a good internet connection, friends yes.

Part of the fun and challenge of hardcore is making builds as strong as possible, without dying like a bitch. You can also make a glass cannon build on Hardcore (though, how long you last would be determined by how good you are at this game) so I'm not sure why you're trying to pretend you absolutely cannot no matter what ever do glass cannon builds in hardcore.

efficiency, I'd say that since everything on standard costs about 200+ exalts more than the hardcore leagues, you're not really gaining any more currency faster than any other leagues, especially if you're just now starting out.

I'd also like to say that standardcore currency is like monopoly money.

Yes, highly skilled supergods of video games will play on the easy mode of a hardcore games, that's very logical, you got me. How couldn't I see it before?

When speaking of efficiency it is about the speed of clearing, not how fast you make currency. The most "efficient" way to make currency is to not play actual content at all. I knew a guy in onslaught who had over a stack of exalts and no character over 35. He just liked playing trade chat.

BTW - Racing is a far better measure of any sort of "skill" than simply playing in an HC league.

There are hardcore builds that can clear maps extremely fast, bro.

Anyone who races can tell you that 90% of races are determined by who gets the best drops from hillock, or whatever. It's 90% luck, 10% actual skill.

Well a stack of exalts is hardly efficient. And I like to do both: Play the game and be efficient.

To the racing thing I am inclined to agree here. There is just different scales for skills and that is what I wanted to prove to Brelm.

Which I have done btw and now he keeps going back to the: "Real men play hardcore, no reason not to. Lalala I cannot hear you!"

Guess that was an exercise in futility...

Edit: guess he is out now anyway, byebye :(
