Invasion players - no need to bash Standard Players

So sick of reading the scrubcore comments.

It is unbelievable how much that term angers me. You are 42 years old. Are you more cool for using those type of words?

Or was I meant to infer that all ARPG veterans have a duty to publicly shame the [Removed by Support] Casual?

Yup.

It's a loud minority that bashes other people for preferring another gamemode. It's really not worth paying attention to.

Some others just use scrubcore comments in humor while loving leagues like domination/ambush.

I agree with this.

@ OP - I only play HC leagues (even though I also have a lame amount of time to dedicate) and would never consider myself above someone who plays standard. How the hell would I know if I'm better. I'm sure some people in Standard have also not died.

A lot of the time the word "scrubcore" is just used to include all non-HC leagues but if you check out the thread on Artizi (or watever) kills... its filled with "Congrats" to those who have completed this challenge on Ambush.

At the end of the day, its a two way street. A vocal minority of SC (and HC) players also talk about the fact they see HC-leagues a "path of life nodes" etc which is meant to take away from others achievements.

Why can't everyone just get along :=/
Just for try for see and for know -2013!

I call standard [Removed by Support] :P

That's my favourite term :)

Not to bash though, I'd be a permanent inhabitant of [Removed by Support] if it weren't for the stuff they keep adding to the game in the temp leagues. If they were only strict ladder seasons with nothing new to them I wouldn't even bother.
You won't get no glory on that side of the hole.

Clearly the solution is to make Hardcore empty into Void League. So at least we know when we get the scrubcore talk it's not just someone mad that they just desynced 10 seconds ago.
Why am I wearing a heavy belt if I haven't got any pants?

Why?

OP is of course correct. It is however just fueling those hormone filled wannabes' rage if you make threads like this I guess. They think it is an accomplishment to play hardcore and above that it gives them a feeling of superiority to let the world know. All a bunch of nonsense by some boys dealing with puberty (or similar backgrounds), but meh...

There is absolutely no objective scale that can measure better or worse by seeing what league you play in. Anyone who thinks there is has a serious problem with their ego.

As many others have stated here it is all about what is most fun to you personally :)
I am glad to see that is actually the prevailing opinion here.

P.S.: I also agree that anyone using "scrubcore" as an insult or acting disrespectful towards players in other playmodes/leagues should be moderated, as this is no proper code of behavior (and often just outright trolling).

Dumbest thing I've heard all day, one gives you permanent death, one does not. One makes you permanently lose items, one does not. Of course there is an objective way to measure the quality of a players' skill based on which league they are playing, if someone were good enough to play on the harder leagues, they would be doing so.

i think anyone with a rational mind would easily come to the obvious conclusion that anyone that feels superior as a person/human for being better at a videogame than another person or more 'hardcore' is truly a pathetic loser with probably a really shitty and sad life, hence the need to cling onto anything that might make them feel better about themselves

No, that is not an objective scale, but a subjective one. But try again. (There is probably also a lot of people playing softcore who would do well in hardcore, but do not want to. I know I don't)

I can make you an easy causal argument, that proves how the more skilled players actually would play softcore. Also rather subjective, but logical nontheless.

It is funny to watch you write though. Guess I hit a nerf there ^^ Don't worry, your life is not worthless if you are not the tough guy in a computer game anymore. It will get better eventually.

I don't think I'm a better person/human than you, I definitely think I'm better at this game than you, though.
