In diablo2 i can kill u naked with oculus with blizz sors, and u wont even realise what is going on. The items werent the problem at all in the pvp..
I do vaguely recall Blizzard being buffed later by the skill synergies, but in most of my play time, it was a completely useless skill. Cold sorcs back then were Frozen Orb or gtfo.

You must have missed the part where I said I played mostly during .08 and .09. Guided Arrow Amazons were broken as hell then. About the only thing that could easily trounce them was a well played BS necro with enough fr/w equipped to literally outrun their arrows.

See I just don't understand this point of view. I play self found, that's just what I find most fun, challenging and rewarding. I know I'll never see some of the loot in the game and I'm ok with that, I was with D2 and TQIT as well and still had a blast. Take the guy who said wait till you get a toon to 90, he is clearly not pleased with play after 90 but rather than being happy he got to 90+, which I bet the vast majority of players won't see, he's upset about it and using it as an example of why the game is bad. Idk, I just don't get it.
You only have a lvl 18 dude on your account. Maybe you will understand if or when you get to a higher level.
I'll document without cheating 50 hours of D2 and 50 hours of POE.
Lets find out which game is more rewarding time vs rewards.

When I went back to D2 in .13 (last summer after I realized D3 was shit) I played 100% legit, and 100% solo, though I did trade obviously. After investing roughly the same amount of time here as I did getting back into D2, and playing the same way, I am much farther along in PoE than I ever was in D2, except when I botted back in .09.
What does this prove? Nothing, except that RNG is exactly what it claims to be, in both games.

Clearly D2 is set more relaxed for loot drops vs POE crafting/drops. Stop with the bullshit guys or put your money where your mouths are and lets get this going.

I have already done exactly what you are asking someone to pay for you to do, and I can tell you that there is no need. However, you would be a terrible candidate for such an experiment anyway, as you are very clearly biased toward a conclusion already.

I've put in roughly I would say 750+ hours into POE.
I put in I would probably say like 2000+ hours into D2 over 10-12 years. Losing my disks several times and bought the game already probably 4 times.
I played D2 on day 1 of release. I played the absolute shit out of that game.
Every time I remade accounts I was back at end game within 2 months each time.
I don't think I've ever been in end game gear yet in POE - I have several 5Ls - but there is no real comparison in terms... CLEARLY there were end game uniques that I had several copies of sometimes in that 2 months. Have I even seen even 1 "end game" unique in POE? lol. Nope. In 750 hours+. Not 1. In 2 months with probably 100 hours I get several end game uniques. (NOT BIS rolled, however still clearly end game unique items like Shakos)
You guys keep dreaming and talking shit about it. RNG is clearly biased in GGG favor - whereas D2 RNG is clearly biased in favor of the players.

Like I said: I don't WANT to go play D2 for 50 hours - however I will do so and then 50 hours on POE and document it all - stream it all - work for YOU guys - to prove YOUR point... because I already know the answer.
