Sounds like OP only played nonladder where the economy was absolute garbage at all times, and compared his char to people who did bot or RMT. If there is a shitload of botting and RMT going on, then you're right, it is pointless to try and compete with these people by normal farming.
Playing D2 multiplayer for actual progression is only fun immediately after a ladder reset when everyone is competing on a level playing field, not competing vs people who already have godly gear obtained from tens of thousands of hours of botting. |
