You are not rembering diablo 2 correctly

Save your time man, it's a valuable resource :) You can't prove much with RNG being RNG. I know of people who were super lucky in Anarchy league and got everything they wanted in a couple of weeks, and now in Domination they can barely buy a BoR because nothing drops for them. It's hard to prove what you're trying to prove, that's why we should exchange opinions and memories from our experiences with D2. People have done this and you can see that experiences differ a lot. [Removed by Admin] I know several people who claim that without trading for duped and botted items it was very hard to get top-end gear in D2. I've made the same experience. sucks a mod ruined this post. I feel its a serious topic of discussion. The game was made because of Diablo 2, and a lot of us had extremely different experiences in d2; we also have very different experiences in POE. I do whole heartedly feel that POE is more rewarding. You can be level 90 and jam a 66 map in and make it 110 percent quality with every bad mod and cake through it in 9 mins. YOU WILL GET DROPS HERE

I have 4 full copies of D2+LoD here and I only really need 2 to play.

I'll pony up some keys for science if it's truly conducted well.

The reason I hardly play D2 anymore though is that they made the drops come from rares instead
of bosses to test for D3. Assuming it's still like this, it's near impossible to self find anything.

Clear bias shown in this thread makes it extremely difficult for me to continue in the discussion.

So on that note I am going to withdraw my offer to document and notate publically 50 hours in D2 and 50 hours in POE.

Even if it was done with a firm and outlined set of criteria I currently have zero trust in GGG that it wouldn't just get modded out of existence and/or accepted as proof. (Even if I did the experiment 5 times.)

While I bow out of this topic rest assured this was only due to my opinion being modded out and not because D2 loot vs reward wasn't clearly better. My stance hasn't changed even an inch on the topic.
