So frustrating that the same mistake is repeated in every D2 clone

#1 rule of official forum boards of every video game ever: use the forums to relay info, gather suggestions, or the rare narrow-focused Poll; but NEVER as "feedback".

#2 rule: Never say the #1 rule in an official capacity. Let some guy on the forums say it, leaving yourself plausible deniability.
Sorry for my english, I'm not very good.

But I find Concepte MF stupid.

When I play a H & S that motivates me to play is to create the strongest possible character. I believed when I saw the talent tree and system GEM, I said "fuck this game is huge"

Pretty soon I realized I have not a character shape our image, but have quickly become a slave to the talent tree.

When you play to PoE, you must follow a very precise build completely OP, take stuff with an astronomical amount of MF.

If you do not do it, you're having a bad character with 0 stuff , 0 drop.

Make the strongest possible character is useless. PoE must be in the character drop the better.

And ... I do not like that.

I wait ROS, because drop rate will change according to the selected DIFFICULTY.

Finding a unique isnt special or rewarding if they are handed out as if welfare items.

It isnt necessarily special, either way. You drop a Voltaxic or Lioneye, congrats, now what? No links, cant use it. Good luck 6-linking it.

I don't get what the problem is. Unless you're trying to build around a specific unique endgame rares are going to be better than most uniques anyway. :/
I might get clubbed to death here, but I like to accept risk / reward choices in games. Without it, it is absolutely hollow.

Let us be perfectly honest with ourselves, what you are crying for is to have a godly DPS character AND high magic finder at the same time. It just does not feel right. Where is the necessity for a compromise or any party thinking then, when we all will be unstoppable walking Chuck Norris with maxed IIR / IIQ?

When we do mapping with my friend, it challenges us to have roles in the group. This guy is the single target nuke. This guy is a pack obliterator. This guy is a MF culler.

What is so wrong about that? You would rather have a universe where guy A, B and C all do everything best? That is a very bleak idea in my opinion, such game WILL NOT be more fun, guaranteed.

I kinda agree with this, and have come to accept that i need two sets of gear: mf-gear for 66-69 and progress gear (all life, dmg and mitigation).

However if i play lvl 66 content, im basically god exile (this is not bragging), despite me running mf-gear.
The Hyperbomber for 2.6: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1879383
Started a Character and got 5 Uniques from Act1 I got 3 and in Cruel Act 1 I got 2(newbie uniques, but even so I got some)
Not from bosses but from normal mobs and some from those glowing mobs.

I'm sticking with rares, because so far are much more decent finding them or making them.

I do not play at a MMORPG

If a play to a H & S is for "fuck off the trinity tank / DPS / heal" and you offers a another trinity ? DPSmono / DPSmulti / supportMF ?

Well.. The game is supposed to be fun. And it seems different players find different things fun.
What I found fun at first is the character building but if the game is not giving me stuff to have this fun then there is nothing much to do here. I didn't download this game to participate in economy simulator or something. If game is about grinding then make the player feel like they are getting something out of it. Game has to be fun not a second job in my humble opinion. It has to be fun for everyone, not just small percentage of lucky players.

And the argument "how would it be if everyone had X" is kind of silly in my opinion. My choice of the game depends on how much fun I am having, not how much some other people are having. And I have put away this game in favor for other games already, just occasionally checking the forums and patch notes (while I remember to do so) if things are getting better.

If there is enough stuff to do with the items the game doesn't die because player has all the items. I like to gather for some time and build for lots of time, not the other way..
