After the beta leagues end Standard ends up with the better parts of whatever they beta'd & it becomes a permanent part of the game.

GGG have obviously taken to using the beta leagues to test out things before implementing them into the real game.

Soon Standard will have Shrines & Nemesis mods but balanced better & more fitting with GGG's vision. Eventually Standard will have all the good things from the beta leagues without the poor balancing of them being in beta.

You may think that the beta league are 'the real game' but the reality is they are just testing grounds for new content to be added to Standard.

Getting bored of the "nobody cares about standard" comments from certain "elitist" players. Those that play exclusively (well, plus races) on standard care about standard, even if you do not. Sure, there is inflation, making high end items becoming insanely expensive, but it is also rather cheap to gear up a char with lower quality items, so theres both negative and positive sides to the economy.

But hey, if your ego needs you to insult players on "scrubcore" "garbage league" or whatever, then go on.

GGG has stated in the self-found thread that you should not care about what others own, and also has told that this game evolves around the trading system in some videos.

So you should not care about that legacy kaoms that others have, and at the same time, you should trade to get that legacy kaoms otherwise you will never able to get it, and that is the design of this game, as planned.

Everything is clear, no-contradictions, I mean in theory.


Concerning altf4, it is useless to talk about it, since each player has different play conditions. In my case, when I trigger alt-f4, the window closes nearly 10 seconds later. On my computer, those slow enemies attack 2 times before the attack motion starts on screen.

Never said scrubcore. I said hardcore should be deleted too. I am not dissing standard by itself, I am dissing the permanent leagues. Stop making yourself a victim.

Really? Orbs/Currencies can be consumed, and every (non-quest) item can be vendored/"reciped"... the only items that high probably always raises, are gems - and I cant see a real issue for the economy with this.

a lot of people from standard dont seem to see how inflated their economy is. Probably cause you never played in a good economy

Orb trading in standard is pretty steady, there may have been small fluctuations, but it is extremely minimal compared to those REAL mmos out there. Saying Standard is not enjoyable because of the inflation is plain stupid. It just reveals how shallow you are.


Not to mention trading is not really required for the game to be playable. Trading is for that extra boost.

Id rather wanna bay 80 Fusings so i can grind Piety longer for Alts.
