Regardind the Standard League and the Hardcore league
" The only bullshit is what you just spouted. The only people who say otherwise are those who want to sell vendor trash items to other players for high prices to amass wealth. The trading scene in the four month leagues is equivalent to a night market in a third world country. Everyone is selling shitty low quality gear. The only positive thing you can say about it is that it is cheap. Besides that aspect of the issue temporary leagues are worthless beyond their use to beta test features for standard league. No one with any concept of time management wants to restart over and over again. You and your fellow hamsters are more than willing to run in your little wheels over and over but people who value what they have already accomplished in this game don't have a desire to do that. Keep PoE2 Difficult.

" Lol, but bringers actually go for 10-11 exalts whilst in nemesis they go for 8. Your point is wrong. 11/8 = 1.375, 30/20 = 1.5. Bringers are CHEAPER on standard. Keep PoE2 Difficult.

" Unfortunately, there is no actual definition of what an "active player" is. Active player could mean anything from a player logging on the forums or in game within the last 30 days or a player that is actually playing at the moment. We don't know. In reality, "active users" (or in this case, "active players") is just another marketing (or trick) that promotes and elevates a company's product to create more interest. Without knowing how "active users" is actually determined and seeing graphs that can be objectively viewed, you should take things with a grain of salt. " I do it because somebody had to. I have not seen a single valid point against standard league. Most of the arguments against it are either ignorant or deliberate falsehoods. The last guy I quoted seriously suggested the removal of the permanent leagues. Everyone who read that should have jumped on him for being as crazy as the SF fanatics but didn't. Keep PoE2 Difficult.

Standard is not the most played league, the devs have said so.
Alt f4 is intentional, and can be used in Standard. But we DO need an option to actually RIP rather than RIIIIIP BACK 2 SCRUBCOREZZZ "You can't bash someone else's shitty taste in music when you listen to 'grindcore'" -TheWretch̢

" For a simple reason: there IS no valid point out there against. With the attitude of "what I dont need, dont have to exist", a lot of possibilities and features look useless: some dont "need" race events, some dont care about temporary leagues; I would neither need any kind of pvp nor all that guild crap (at least in its useless actually form)... ^^ @fire_kid: I can delete my chars on my own, if "needed"/desired, but I think they could add a switch for 'permadeath' for the hc league(s) - but they should take the ghosts away from the ranking count (for all corpses, not just permadeathes) invited by timer @ 10.12.2011

" We KNOW (to some degree); if you just had read the very first paragraph in the linked posting... It stats 50k of active POSTERS as 3% of the players base: so these 1.7 mill CAN NOT just log into the forum from time to time, these all are different accounts logged into the GAME... Of course its also a 'bit' of marketing; you cant determine how many of this are multi-accounts, nor how many just stand in town and trade or chat... There's also no clarification about the timeline for 'activity', but we know from earlier statements that POE has around 40~70k simultaneous players (logged in, no matter what they do), so that I assume for the full circle of time zones that at least 350...500k players use the client daily. invited by timer @ 10.12.2011

" "Active" land mines can sit in the earth for hundreds of years, as well as "active" volcanoes. The definition of active is vague at best. If he said "actively using" or "average of weekly activity" that would be more well defined. Even if 50k different people have posted at least 1 time on these forums since CB, it would come as a surprise. |
