Then i have some information for you: look up what loot 2.0 means, d3's itemization went through a massive overhaul, all items now have almost 100% chance to roll main stat and vit, so you WILL find upgrades by yourself. Also they're shuting down their AH because of this new itemization it's completely unnecessary. Also they rewamped the whole difficulty thing, you don't have to play the story 4 times per character, the mobs always scale with your level, so if you like you can get to lvl60 by just playing act1 if you want. Difficulty can adjusted like d2's players X command but in a more professional way. Monster damage and xp are very balanced right now, there are no damage spikes like in poe where you can insta gibbed by a random hit from nowhere.
And if you think d3 is too easy then see you in Torment VI with an untwinked fresh char.

Loot 2.0 doesn't improve itemization, it improves your odds of good drops. They're completely different things.

Everything is still tied to the exact same stats and your character is still completely controlled by your wardrobe. In fact, now ALL character development is RNG since you can't even trade (and the devs even explicitly stated this was their ideal).

CORRECTION, you cannot trade legendaries unless it's with someone in your party, up to 2 hours. Do you think poe having trade makes it less RNG? Of anything it's more random, is the guy on, is the item actually for sell, will the guy have a price in mind or will he do one of those "make an offer". Will he take your offer? Will he ignore you? Will he counter ? All part of the tangled web that is RNG. how do people think spamming trade chat, hunting someone down for an item is fun is beyond me. I really wish blizzard never implemented the RMAH and didn't center loot drops around the AH in general because AH was a great thing. Eliminate a big chunk of RNG. Because people buying their gear from AH after hitting 60 is no different than what people are doing here on poe

You've gotten it ass backwards. Blizz is shutting down the AH because it's not working to profit them anymore. Blizz doesn't do a goddamned thing unless it shows more corporate profit for their execs & stockholder's every 3 months, (same for WoW, etc.). Get real, kiddies and fanbwois...they've milked D3 AH for all it's worth.

Most people don't like AH and they're losing players/game sales, so they had to revamp the game around deleting it. Thus the "new itemization" spiel. But Blizz has always been good at PR spin. Problem is no matter how much you try to polish a turd, it still stinks.

You're delusional, up to date, there are still people using the AH, real money and all. But you can keep spewin your garbage. They are removing the ah because the AH created a delimma where there was mass amount of items out on servers so they created drop manipulation around the AH. Without AHs they can have more useful drops drop more frequently. And FYI, the itemization they're using now is what they used on system games to see how people would like it and apparently enoug people did (I personally did not like gear progression on xbox). People threatened to not buy xpac unless AH was removed so they all came here, after seeing how dated the trade system is, started asking for an AH.

And I love the way people try to demonize for profit companies. Get a fucking clue. Yes they will continue to make changes to get more money, maybe GGG should pick up on this. There are ways up ramp up profit without abandoning your mission. According to everyone here, blizzards mission is to make money and it's working because they'll be getting my $40. Mission accomplished.
Poe is loosing big time with their random unrewarding gambling game.

They've lost the general concept of a game.

Poe is a punishing, frustrating and boring slot machine

And unlike Blizzard, GGG is afraid to change core mechanics. They'll just keep adding more stuff using the same boring mechanics to try and keep players satisfied.

Something like this.
The current new content would be very good, if it wouldn't be ruined by 1 shot bosses and the same unrewarding loot.
And i dunno how other players feel, but for me, desync got even worse.
"I'm programmed to say something that is kind and uplifting at this point, but there is apparently an error that is working in my favor."
PoE's itemization is better because builds are actually builds.

D3 may as well not even have itemization. It serves very little purpose. I wouldn't be surprised if loot stopped dropping entirely in a future patch in place of predefined gear choices per Paragon level or something.
I read no portion of this thread other than the subject... and I'll put dollars to donuts that no two people in it have the same definition of "itemization".
D3 itemization all the way. Loot 2.0 really makes this game look bad in comparison. The possible builds are infinite and paragon point system puts the passive tree in shame! Itemization is all about finding your own upgrades, and I am happy to finaly see people in these forums are starting to realize that.

Wait until Loot 2.0b gets released and then the big 2.1 update. D3 is and will be constantly updated only for the the extremely low pricing of 40E!
