ROfL no1. why you guys comparing those 2 games! AGAIN?!
D3 is for youth kids who want to play a fast arcade no-brainer game and have insane drops in a couple of minutes. end of story! Have you ever seen comparing Richard Burns Rally with Grid or Need for Speed? No Have you ever seen people comparing Arma with CoD ? No Because PoE and D3 have the same "camera view" (well PoE has better angle) they don't have to be the same at gameplay experience.. You should compare D3 with TL2 and Grim Dawn not PoE... PoE is in another league...Hardcore and definately not for Whiners! ROfL no2. Whiners about items!! AGAIN?! What did you expect? to have every single drop being perfect for you? Learn to have a mediocre items and combine them with powerful gems...This isnt a game about having the best gear..This is about having the best setup of skills and passives. Think before you play. If you think that by getting 10k hp and you'd be the invincible hero in PoE..sorry boy..aint gonna happen. end of story! Beta Member Since 2010 Last edited by Kalidor#1039 on Jan 15, 2014, 2:33:38 PM

" "insane drops every couple of minutes" - You've obviously NEVER even touched D3. "Hardcore" - really? How is this game "hardcore" exactly? also, saying ROFL constantly through your post doesn't make your points have more weight. On Topic: Both games have atrocious itemization. It's as if both devs are afraid to actually let players loose and have fun. If POE had double the drop rate, and double the exp, people would be constantly rerolling, checking out new builds, not being afraid to screw up a build, generally having more fun. BUT of course, we need to keep this hardcore economy sim working so... |

POE has a better itemization but Diablo 3 has a better loot system
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

" He is speaking of the console version where this does indeed happen. Makes most rare items completely pointless. |

" Well i ment the "Loot 2.0" and being said from activi$$ion that all drops would be much better and perfect etc etc yeah this is the Hardcore aRPG of course! I bet if you were 100 level and had somehow the "best gear" in the game you would definately destroyed by a 66 map rolled insane mods. this is hardcore. (and im not talking about grouping with a team of course..thats for p____'s!) Why you want to have the double rate? I really like that way that is hard to get items and gamble/craft them on your own..Trading is another story..maybe for people who don't want to spend endless hours of grinding and want to have the item they want. Fair enough ;) Beta Member Since 2010

" If you really want something like this you should check out Marvel Heroes. It has increased drops and increased exp compared to this. You are constantly re-rolling as you unlock new heroes. But for me, and I can't really explain why, it was not mure fun :-/ |

" Are you serious man? You are comparing Poe which has a skill tree with more than 1350 nodes which is completely customizable to D3 which has 0 character customization WHATSOEVER and your conclusion is PoE doesn't have a wide range of ways to play?? D3 has 1-2 good builds per class, and 1-2 viable item sets to work with. If you run into another person of your same class in D3 there's like a 90% chance that you have 3-4 identical pieces of gear and are using 3-4 of the same skills. Itemization does not = drop rate. You also have to consider possible useful items that are viable in builds, and PoE blows D3 out of the water in that area. |

Do you like the pikachu and do you guys think they should build iphones for babys?
this is a better discussion than comparing a fucking console game targeted on console game players with a pc game...jesus kids grow up and understand that blizzard took a different approach. activisionnlizzards try to make so much more money and for that they have a different target audience. Why you should try Harcore http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/209310/page/1 Last edited by tadl#0113 on Jan 15, 2014, 3:17:44 PM

" This. D3 and PoE, as odd as it may seems since they're both defined as "aRPG's", target two very different audience. D3 became more and more like that console hit of the week you'll be playing for some time and with very little depth, that's all. RoS, who clearly goes on the same path as the console version, won't solve anything in that matter. IGN : @Morgoth
