Man, nothing sells anymore unless it's the high end uniques

I Hate 4 months leagues, its a lazy solution to stopping inflation.

Instead of taking real steps to prevent inflation we are forced to restart every 4 months. When will AARPG makers realize that these style of game's need an item sink?

Ultima Online had wear-and-tear where items eventually and permanently broke after a number of repairs (each lowering durability). The result was that people used mediocre gear most of the time and never took their best stuff out of the bank/stash.

I laugh at the players thinking standard is bad. In fact the temp league babies are crying a few threads down on how it takes 40 chaos to get 1 exalt lolz. In standard the currency rates have been extremely stable and reasonable. I can make an average of 1 exalt an evening
farming/selling rares to vendor for fusing/chaos if I want to. Anything besides the high end uniques and mirror rares are on the table. just a matter of how much grind am I willing to put out for the items I want.

This is how the game should be, anything besides the top end items need to be accessible to everybody with a little bit of work. This isn't some Korean MMO where you treat the game as your 2nd job, its all about making fun and effective builds.

To the TC, farm more and sell low. That's how you become "rich". An item sitting in the stash is of no value unless its converted to orbs.

Currency itself is sinkable...and characters sink in hardcore, where the game is intended to be played.

I can easily afford your chest and I still wouldn't buy it for 1 exalt and I don't have a 5 link.

Reminds me of my trading today in nemesis. I was looking for some dual resist 31-35% cold, 20-22% fire 50-60 life gloves, found a few and messaged some people with them. One guy wanted 18 chaos for his 36 cold 21 fire 85 life 56 energy shield gloves, one guy didn't respond, and the other guy had 65 life 36 cold 28 fire gloves and only wanted 3c.

18c for a pair of gloves like that? Are you fucking kidding me? Thankfully I got an actual legit deal with that other guy who had superior gloves for me, being def/ES for easier color rerolls and slightly less HP. The 18C guy told me people actually pay that much for his crap items....
