Stop being entitled guys. You already getting Full game for free. it's like saying. 'hey i really want to change my shoes to these %500 shoes because they look very pretty, but they should make them much cheaper' . YOU DO NOT NEED NICER SHOES IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A PAIR OF SHOES. You WANT it. Need =/= want.
Oh, we will still be playing the game alright.
But the cash item part...
I hope you understand.
The server doesn't run on it own for free.
Moreover, the game is now free.
And if they don't try to get every dollar they could...
The rest you get it.
Exactly ... 'The server doesn't run on it own for free.'. They are trying to survive only on cosmetic items (and a bit more storage).
Why be so entitled.
Well, and people here just suggest that,
I know the $5 and $10 package is stupid. But it's not when you spent more than $20.
Just don't spend if you have less than $20.
Which discourage some of the people here to spend any at all.

I don't get it why you're all so upset about...
It's basicly this situation:
You are going to the supermarket with $4,60.
You want to buy for example ketchup.
The (higher tier) ketchup is $5.
The cheapest ketchup is $2,50.
and when you go to the atm you need to get atleast $5 to buy the (higher tier) ketchup.
I was unaware that the shop didn't give you change... ~snerk~
Your analogy MIGHT work if the shop only sold you goods if you used SHOPBUX and the ketchup cost 500 SHOPBUX and you got 496 SHOPBUX for 5 dollars. Suddenly that bottle of ketchup is 10 dollars real money. THAT is what's happening here.
Yeah but still there is a CHEAPER ketchup for $2,50 that you can get.
Still nothing changes, If you want something else that's more expensive then yes if you haven't got the money you gotta SAVE it. This cash shop is the same as in any other f2p model, the lower tiers give you less while the higher packages give you more.

Ya.. a more appropriate analogy for a store would be like this when compared to GGG:
You can only spend money efficiently in our store if you have $20 or more, if you have less than that you're screwed because we hate poor people.

It's the same as in every other f2p model as stated before. And you can still buy stuff with the $5 and $10 packages, but yes you're losing a bit or have some leftovers but just SAVe the leftovers for later? Does it really hurt THAT bad?

I don't care how high the prices are or anything like that. They need to make money somehow so I will never complain about that stuff.
However I do have to agree that making people buy more from being 4 points away is silly. Just let people pay the exact dollar amount for the item.

People would still complain if the it was like this:
$5 - 50
$10 - 100
and the items we're priced at 5 coins higher.

You're simply arguing against the normal micro transaction process. This is how it's done. You are incentivised to buy more at a time to get more points. It's part of the micro transaction business plan. To not do it this way creates a situation where the costs and revenue do not break even.
20 dollars. That's about 4 trips to a fast food joint. Why not make sandwiches for 4 days. 20 dollars to essentially buy a great game is not too much. It's cheap.
Would you prefer a subscription?
Would you prefer a 60 initial purchase then, the rest free?
If you prefer the micro transaction system, then this is it. You are incentivised to buy more points because of the threshold where they can solidify their business plan. And in GGG's case, that business plan does NOT consist of greed.
Do you really think someone that values 5 dollars would purchase fast food?
Per what I've witnessed, yes. If that doesn't apply to you, then good on you. But then the point stands. If 5 dollars is so important to you, then why would you even consider buying micro transactions on a game that doesn't require them?
If you wish to donate to feel like a good person, then tough luck. Priorities.
GGG cannot blow up their business plan for breaking even so someone that cannot afford a trip to Burger King can purchase in this game. If they did what you are asking, then the game would go away. It would be done.
I have full confidence that the pricing in the micro transaction section is exactly at a projected "break even". GGG's past financial motives and implimentations scream it.
I'm sorry that it isn't an ideal situation for you. Write a strongly worded letter to server bandwidth providers on their pricing. It's not GGG's fault they charge so much.

Maybe not exact dollar amount.
People here are just rage about how previously we get a $1 for 10 points,
but right now it manage to get lesser.

No, as stated before, it's not the same in every F2P game. Dota 2 for example. Valve values and appreciates their customers so they assign a $ value to their cosmetic items instead of selling you scam points.
