scam: advertising something which doesn't live up to it. Doesn't have/not capable or not available but advertised as one.

So that in mind. care to explain how this is a scam? You get what they "advertise".

Aren't you using way too big words? :)

No advertising = false advertising IMO. They never said the prices were changing.

And if you think scam is a big word I feel sorry for you. Don't you have anything better to do instead of defending a decision that you didn't make?

it is big for some1 who doesn't know it's meaning ;)

not to mention checking your post history, you are either a girl, or just a boy wos really feminine. quite an attitude you have for complaining 24/7.

GGG obviously wants us to pay at least 20 dollars when we intend to buy points.

Then why do they have options lesser than that? Why not just have the $20 option if that's what they want people to buy?

Because some people can't afford to pay 20 dollars at once.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Yep you don't. Then it's working as intended. Now get over it o_0 You keep repeating yourself.

"not fair", "not very good", "not clever".

Yes they are not. And? It's a company. Live with it or get lost.

I hope people don't complain when the cash shop doesn't generate enough revenue.

Sorry, but the 5 and 10 dollar point amounts are lame and scam-worthy. Doesn't matter of they are necessary or not.

I mean, not even Nexon would do something like that.

And wow, the fanbois in this game are already crazy flamers. Yelling and swearing at people pointing out that the 5 and 10 dollar point bundles are worthless and designed to never be enough but JUST close a few points shy?

God, I realize you want to defend the game, and the game's great, I've been playing it off and on for a year or so, but these point totals are highly disappointing from a dev that I thought had a sense of morality and cared about its customers.

You can swear at me all you want and call me poor if it makes you feel better about yourself (I'm not poor, not that it matters), but those 2 point bundles are designed in bad faith and anyone that can do 1st grade math can see that. It's sad.

Ya I'm just going to report your predujice... you have done nothing except troll for the attention that you so desperatly desire.
On a side note, I have 500 points or whatever. I will be spending them gladly. However, unless this sort of issue is resolved, I won't be purchasing any more points. I'm sure everyone else is living the good life or whatever, but I'm not the type of person to spend 10 dollars on an item that's clearly marked as $5.
Just my opinion. But I dont think item effects should go above 7.50 AT MOST. 20 $ for a effect is hilarious. Atleast wows 25$ stuff are mounts. Dont get me wrong I love the game but these prices are a bit hilarious.

1.) Forcing? The stuff is irrelevant to the game and purely up to you to buy it or not, so how can it be forcing? again, for you: they HAVE TO apply at least some sort of "pressure" (don't like the word as it is too tough but u get it that way) as they are risking a great lot by just selling cosmetics that none REALLY, BADLY needs!

You're confusing the option to buy with the option of how the item is bought.

(A) "Do I want to buy this item or not?"

(B) "Do I want to pay $10 for something worth $5.50?"

A and B are two completely different things, and it is with point B that we have a problem.

On the assumption that I already want to buy something and choose that I will buy that item, I cannot simply buy a 50-point item for 50-points. I don't have the option or choice to buy an item for just exactly what it's worth. Instead, GGG forces me to overspend. I have to buy two 46-point packs, just so I can buy a 50-point item. THAT is the issue.

2.) yes they need money badly, like so many other people and if they don't get it the game is dead, so what's not to be understood right there? be grateful they are already trying to make it as free as possible.

Making someone spend $10 for a $5.50 item doesn't sound like they're making it "as free as possible."

3.) Underhanded tactics? can't be that underhanded if even u see through them...

LOL what is this? :p Okay then, then let's call it "blatantly unfair tactics." Semantics. In any case, it's an unfair pricing scheme.

Antigegner wrote:
4.) overspend? Just save up some of the "change" dude! most likely they will add some stuff on which u can spend it.

That's not saving. That's just forcing people to overspend on an item they want today so that you can cash in on the excess left over from the transaction tomorrow. From a customer's perspective, the $4.50 left over from what I wanted to buy is already GGG's because the points that I got for it can only be spent for POE. There's no "saving" involved there.
You know what? I don't really care personaly.
I want them to make more money and yes it may be a bit silly to give you what 46 points for 5 dollars? I expected 1 dollar = 10 points no matter what like it was with the supporter packs. But really, what is 20 dollars, for someone that can be alot I get that and you can't really buy anything for the price of 5 dollars now, but all of that is JUST cosmetic. Do we really have to complain about prices of cosmetic items for games? It's not anything that you can't play without.
I am going to support GGG untill the day I die. This game is something I was looking for. I played alot Diablo 2 and this game brings the feelings I had with Diablo 2. The last thing I would care about are cosmetic items right now really.

Enjoy the gameplay and if you disagree with the pricing than don't buy anything, don't support GGG it's your free will to do that.

The pricing is odd but I am OK with that as long as people can't buy power than go ahead and spend 50 dollars on a pet. people spent 1.000 for diamond kiwi and some even more for more kiwis. Just save 20 dollars to get the "normal" reward for what you are paying. For a game like this you would normally have to pay like 50 and that's something to consider.

I am the same way with my 150 points. I will not buy any more unless this is resolved. I live on a budget, that's why I didn't donate another 10$ and get a kiwi before OB. I only really can afford this kind of stuff when I didn't have something to buy that I usually do.
