I hope GGG reads this and considers my feedback. The pet section is completely my own feelings, and I don't care if they change it or not. The GGGold part, I think they should reward you for buying higher $ amounts at once, not subtract you for buying less. And the weapon colors I think NEEDS to be changed.
1. The amount you get from buying the GGGold is...nonsensical. Everything costs multiples of 10, but you recieve things that end in 6(!). The downside to this is that, say I wanted to buy a cosmetic pet that's 50 GGGold, now, realistically, that's 5$. Because of the random ratios of GGGold:IRL$ it's actually going to cost me a minimum of 10$ for my pet, then I have 46GGGold that I didn't need to get.
2. Some of the prices are a little high (in my opinion). I'll give an example: The frog pets are perfectly priced, cheap for the people who just want a pet. The Crickets are a little pricey, but still just fine by me. The basilisk pet is a little crazy. 50 dollars for a single pet is VERY high. Especially for something that's only cosmetic (Don't get me wrong, I agree with you guys only doing cosmetic).
Another example of the high prices is: "Vampiric Weapon Effect" and "Verdant Weapon Effect". Yes they look nice, and yes now they're unlimited transfers, but, that doesn't change the fact that they are 20$ each. These weapon enchants bring me to another point:
3. The basic "x-hued glow" enchants are different prices. This bothers me. They're seemingly the exact same thing, but with different colors costing me. This doesn't hurt ME any because I LOVE purple, but what about the people that like red...or blue? 6 and a half dollars for red as opposed to two and a half for purple? That doesn't make any sense at all.

I'm not usually the "elitist" type of person.
But for now, this close at the public release of game, i just ignore every post that was made by a "regular" supporter and below.

They should.
Just not with pricing schemes that are exploitative.
Like I said on another thread that was recently locked:
I get that the items are cosmetic.
I get that buying the items are optional.
I get that the full game is free.
BUT, the pricing scheme is unethical because for $10, you only get 92 points instead of 100. For $5, you get 46. So even though you are only 4 points away from a 50 point item, you are forced to purchase a minimum of $5 more for being just $.40 cents away.
If items were priced at increments of 46 points, then selling 46 points for $5 makes sense. But items are sold at 50-point increments while points are purchased at 46-point increments, which means that GGG forces you to buy two 46-point packs if you want a 50-point item.
What this means is that you spend $10 for something that has a $5.50 value, and if you choose not to buy any more items after that, it means you spent an extra $4.50 for nothing.

Hello,
I looked at the price of the shop and i was surprised with the stiff price of some item.
- Account features > all the prices are good
- Pets > pet at 25/50/100 pts. it's good. But some pets at 300 and 500 points (30 & 50 $) O_o
- Item Effects > 10/15$ (100/150 pts) for an item is good. The prices above are excessive.
- Alternate Skill Effects : Price are very good.
- Animation > for 70 pts - Ok
- Custom Content > Only a madman or a person who doesn't know the value of the money would give 1000 $ for design an object in game.
It is only the opinion of an average player, but I wished the devs know it.
(Sorry if my english isn't very good)
I think having a few pets at a premium price range is fine. It's the same with the kiwis. Diamonds weren't cheap, basic kiwis by comparison were. There will always be certain items that people with a bit more money will want to show off, and pets are good for this function. The fact that the alternate skill effects and item effects are decently priced is worth noting: these are things that should be more common, because a lot of other games (buy to play) have them standard.
So I've no problem with a few pets being outrageously priced. They're a whole other level of unnecessary in an ARPG.
You got it wrong bro, during CS it was fine to spend $1k because it was more of a support thing to help GGG on their feet, but now if we buy items it feels like we're buying from a greedy money hugging company... its juts my opinion

In reality, the 50Gold pet costs 5dollars 11cents. fair price if you ask me.
need to repeat myself :)

Funny how the only thing is fair in these guys eyes are the things which are priced for 20-30Gold.

again, for you: they need money badly cuz they don't force the micros upon people (pay-to-win items) so they obviously have to find other strategies (the one u mentioned) to make u spend a little more and that's legit. nothing "unethical" there. I explained that in the thread that was closed by charan**. There is nothing to discuss here either - pathetic whining. GGG is risking a lot by just selling cosmetics.
**:GGG is selling cosmetics ONLY = less turnover generated than from selling items that can truely make u better in-game (less pressure/temptation to buy stuff) = higher risk of making less or not enough money = higher prices or very, very low (they went for higher approach).

Firstly, not your 'bro'.
I don't see a difference between supporting in CB and supporting in OB. They're still in the red by a fair amount, I'd be willing to bet. It's not like they suddenly gained a crapload of money overnight from Closed Beta to Open and so don't need to sell any more items, aesthetic or otherwise. That's a ridiculous way of looking at it.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period.
