Manually trading with people is great fun!
Raics, not trading is one's own choice. But trading IS part of the game whether you like it or not. If people choose to not to do, as they would mischaracterize it being equivalent of some "tycoon" game, they have no right to complain about having it harder.
Wanting the same income for just "playing the game without any intellectual investment" vs the guy who's actually trying and succeeding in finding new ways of profit, just makes no sense. People get what they deserve, eventually. "I accept Nujabes as my Savior."

I don't know why it is so hard to understand, that for a lot of people need to haggle with somebody on piece of gear is boring and unpleasant activity and that somebody can just don't like to trade? That this is straight against idea of aRPG, at least for somebody who remembers installation of D1 from FDD?
Unfortunately, it is hard to understand for developers, who have vision of path of happy merchants interacting with each other in one big community, and don't understand, that some people are not looking in game for FB 2.0. " Scam and spam, you mean? EDIT: I'm not against idea of trading, but trading should not be more profitable than looting mobs. At the moment, it is more profitable to spam trade chat than use this time to grind and considering, that we are playing aRPG game, not some Monopoly clone, this is pure nonsense. As self found as much as possible player, I have worse access to high level content that trade chat spammer. Anticipation slowly dissipates... Last edited by tmaciak#3784 on Sep 5, 2013, 10:40:57 AM

" Your post presumes that only ways of profit are through "scamming" people /"flipping items" and spamming trade chat. But you're very mistaken in this case. "I accept Nujabes as my Savior."

" Just stop there man, really. Lowballing/highballing, flipping, scamming and such are all terribly bad karma. You do those things with real money, not monopoly bills. If you sell your soul at least sell it right. " This a joke or are you really trolling now? Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

" You highlight your ignorance and prejudices quite well. Why would you assume that those are only options of profit? You being aware of just these ways, it does not mean that there are no other "non-dirty" paths of profiting. " No, that's a thing I've noticed in people, who whine that they have "harder". They just "play the game mindlessly", they do not put any though behind what they want to achieve, how they want to achieve, and what are ways to achieve/improve. @tmaciak Sorry, but I'm not up to this childish "Oh yes I am!" nonsense. "I accept Nujabes as my Savior." Last edited by 1988288#4403 on Sep 5, 2013, 11:04:55 AM

" Look man, I do not want to 'profit', I do not want to waste time on trading at all so I don't do it. Don't really care about getting uber gear either, I'm here to support those that don't like the current model so devs would do something about it. Why? To help make this game better than it is. I too remember times when you didn't have to trade in games like this to obtain gear, let alone to access content. You just needed to play the game and to access harder content you just had to play enough and be good enough. I just want to play a good arpg, these people here just want to play a good arpg, and as far as all of us are concerned economy simulator has no place in the genre. We want to 'intellectually invest' ourselves in thinking how to beat the game, not how to beat other traders in milking people for their equally hard earned cash. I guess I made my stance on the subject clear enough now. We're willing to put up with it as long as we aren't forced to use it. Since you can't sustain high level maps by playing solo self-found you have to either trade for it or not play it, those who cave in choose the former, those who don't choose the latter. " In aRPG game, the only "non-dirty" path of profiting should be looting monsters. I'm not childish, probably I'm much older than you and I remember, that it was so and I have no inclination to change that, for me "golden", rule. But as I wrote, I'm accepting trade. What I don't accept and will never accept, is that trading could be more profitable than looting. It is the biggest D3 and PoE fail for me. And +1 for your words raics!
