Manually trading with people is great fun!

The people who don't even bother posting an asking price on the forums or in-game are just preying on the people who don't flip items 24/7 and know their true values.

They need to not be assholes when you send them an offer that isn't what they want and just say what the fuck they want for items.

However, if they weren't busy trying to rip off people every day, there wouldn't be so many complaints about the trading in this game.
Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
I didn't read all of this, but at least I don't have to see the following anymore...

"WUG?"
I played this game self-found to lvl90. I sold a lot of stuff to craft gear (with limited success). Highest map I ever looted was 75. I played solo a lot, of in small parties. Only one of us bought maps.

After reaching lvl90, I bought 1 item which I resold later for a 27ex profit. Had I done that kind of trading earlier, I would have been maxed out on my character in the 70's I guess.

In this genre, I enjoy getting stuff myself. I do not enjoy playing twinked characters with purchased gear.

My experience with trading in this game was absolutely dreadful. It amounted to selling gear, and occasionally buying currency (chisels especially). I set up a shop, stated in bold I wanted people to come up with offers on gear that did not have buyouts. 99% of people contacting me totally ignored what I stated in my shop. Many were quite unpleasant and aggressive when I told them how much I expected to get from a specific item.

All in all, I found trading to be incredibly tedious and boring in this game, but necessary to get currency. Since you need currency to play this game past 71maps, whether to craft, gear, or just buy maps, I feel the trading system as a whole needs a major overhaul.

Or they are unaware of the price and don't want to be preyed upon by the flippers..
