Releasing the game in this state and then going on holiday was a poor decision.
It was already quoted to you

" If you took the time to read the OP i clearly stated I enjoy the game and I'm Optimistic about it. You fabricated a Lie.. again. I will continue to report you on any thread I see as you are in fact a troll. |

I would suggest report and don't interact.
I like to point out exactly what hes doing and how he does it now and then out of genuine admiration for a master of his craft, but otherwise interaction is what he is after because getting you invested is how he gets you mad, and he isn't usually the one the admins respond to. |

" Oh yeah no I see this. And now they want me to quote what someone else already did. And... now I guess everyone's a troll and they are just going to report. Egh.... Mash the clean

" Thanks for the advice bro it's much appreciated. These type of people don't bother me in the slightest as their persona tends to falter given enough engagement. I will take your advice and stop interacting with them now. God bless! |

Wait, so now I get reported for "trolling"? Because I disagree and have pointed out nearly every flaw in your OP, the title of the thread, and most of the responses since.
I'm lying now too, apparently, as is the guy who quoted your own words. You enjoy the game....but its in such an unacceptable state that they need to return and offer weekly updates and patches to address "issues" that, as I've already pointed out, are NOT issues. You tell me you want to hear from GGG because I don't speak for them. They have literally been talking about what this game was going to be like for FIVE years! Also...you want GGG to tell you what they want the game to be like. Play the game! There's your answer. If they didn't want the exp penalty in the game, why did they explicitly keep it from PoE 1 into PoE 2 and make it worse? If they didn't want items to be as scarce, why did they release Ruthless mode in PoE 1, TELL US repeatedly that items would be less scarce in PoE 2, and then release PoE 2 with....scarce items. Report me. I'm not trolling, I'm disagreeing. And I'm offering evidence as to WHY I disagree and why your premise is wrong. You are not doing the same in kind. Don't post something so inflammatory if you can't handle the heat thrown right back at you. Imagine, for a second, that you actually preferred everything you currently see as a problem. Like the actual majority of those playing right now. Would this thread still exist? I highly doubt it. And then imagine that you give the slightest thought as to WHAT weekly "updates" (not fixes) will accomplish. What are they supposed to do, keep a running tally of everytime "exp bad" comes up in the forum, then weigh that against "exp good"? Every week? How does that help them in any way? A good use of their time and effort during an EA? Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on Dec 30, 2024, 1:45:49 AM

" This exactly, it's pretty obvious when you see them parroting the exact same complaints without any context or understanding. 15% xp loss is a great example of this, something that doesn't actually exist and yet it is STILL parrotted as a problem. |

" Relax fam, were actually talking about another guy. Not everyone is a troll, there are just a couple of pros around that really shine. Disagree hard and disagree often, that's how the feedback reaches its pinnacle. |

" YOU were, yes. But he explicitly quoted ME and called me a troll and said he was reporting me. And for the record...whether that other guy is a troll or not is sort of irrelevant in THIS particular thread, because all he did was directly quote the OP. He hasn't done any trolling in this conversation, I would have called him out too. Or...hes done very little trolling. The repeated post of the quotes was sort of unnecessary. " 10% actually, and it is there. I didn't spot exactly where it turned on, but I think it was well after I started into the atlas. I'm level 92, 30/30 on base points and 8/10 on boss points, and more than a few times I've deleted my experience bar being over ambitious about running 8 mod and 6 suffix waystones. For the record, I don't fall into the camp of "get rid of xp penalties"; if I had it my way, standard would be one death per map, 3 attempts at pinnacle bosses (currently only really ash guy) BUT you have to start each attempt from blank, and mechanics on a map tile that havent been started don't go away when you rip a waystone. Kindof a "change it a little so the thing that just kicked me in the nuts doesn't move 3 weeks away afterwards" moderate camp, but I'm not about to boycott anything if it stays as is. Edit: oh, and xp loss on death stays. Maybe throw in D2 style 20% gold lost on death too, gold doesn't seem to go anywhere otherwise. Last edited by Bigwilleh#1842 on Dec 30, 2024, 1:51:24 AM
