No, it was great. All the sweaty streamers have nothing else to do and test the early access very thoroughly. We've already learned so much and so has GGG.

Certain mechanics such as loss of xp on death in end game should've been addressed immediately and the other major topics being discussed by the community.

The game should have had weekly patches and engagement

They just walk themselves into their own posts if you give it enough time

Hit the nail on the head.

100% why they did it now.

I can definitely agree with you there but streamers aren't the entire player base but a the minority . The bugs and imbalance they find is great and necessary ,but their are more than just streamers playing this game.

You unintentionally invalidate the experience of the average player which has been a common theme . All players spent their money to test this and the feedback shouldn't be gatekept to a specific minority because of their ability to spend more time on this game. Each has their place.
Honestly I'll disagree with the OP ... a lot of people could leverage some of their holiday and other time to get to try out the EA. If they'd have started on Jan 10 there wouldn't have been as large of an audience available to play.

At least that's my thoughts.

Plus the holiday is a great excuse to see how the league develops without balance & rebalance patches raining down. This will give them time to collect valueable data and make significant updates over the next 30 to 60 days.

nope...its the exact OPPOSITE of this. The streamers help find bugs and issues before the "average player" ever even encounters them. That is quite literally what the EA is for, and makes the experience BETTER for anyone who operates at a slower place than the streamers.

Why did we get the first handful of bugfixes and hotfixes in the first week/2weeks of launch? Because of STREAMERS. Without them, you would have an ACTUAL broken game.

The absolute best thing during a beta or EA is for "smart" players to no-life the game. The EA actually ISN'T for the average player...that is what the full release is for. And what's funny is you know who ISN'T complaining that they haven't heard anything from GGG in a while? The same people who were "done" with the game on Day 3 of the launch.
Starting anew....with PoE 2

You cut out sentences and ordered them to appear as if I contradicted myself. Addressing doesn't mean an automatic fix. Maybe you got confused on that?

You can address an issue and spend whoever long it takes to release a fix...obviously. Weekly patches don't have to be about what I listed as their are many other issues that need their own timeframes to sort out. Hope I clarified any confusion.
Man y'all stupid. They released when they did for a reason and it played out perfectly - they had a couple of weeks to weed out the most gamebreaking bugs and address the most pressing issues (which they did). Then they COULD leave the game (and the players) alone for the holidays (a time of the year when most people have a lot of time to play video games) to gather as much data about the end-game as possible so that when they return to work they can start going through all that data and start adjusting things accordingly.

Also sorry to break it to you but that adjusting will not be removing XP loss on death or 1 portal mapping, increasing loot or removing sanctum/ultimatum as ascendancy mechanics like most of you bitches probably think they should.

I don't get why most people don't get what you just said.

This forum seems to be the 100-200 players out of hundreds of thousands of players who hate the game and think the game is broken. They seriously also think they are the majority cause the 6 streamers they follow and listen to think the game needs a lot of work.

The funny thing is they haven't realized yet that most streamers will always find something negative to talk about in a game because that is what sells. People love and live for drama lol

You got caught in your own posts. You want immediate fixes but then dont.

Just gotta be careful next time. Pay attention to what you post before hitting the submit button on the bottom left.
