I like llama, but he doesn't speak for the entire community or even a majority of it. No streamer or group of streamers does. These are people that get paid to play essentially and their concerns and thoughts are sometimes so far disconnected from the "working class" players that I'm astounded. They're the .01% that should not be balanced around cause they're going to accomplish what they want out of sheer time anyway.

It was not intended as (He represents everyone). But in order to have a debate about something it is important to highlight opinions in order to come to a conclusion. MrLamaSc had an opinion. Some might disagree with him. Others will agree. Nothing wrong with that.
Fully agree. There was an interview where they stated non PoE 1 players didn't find the game nearly as difficult at PoE 1 vets. Maybe the problem is the brain rot from no longer needing to think or react at all in the original. Don't get me wrong, PoE 1 is awesome and that mindless gameplay is like junk food for the mind and has its place. That's why the game still exists and this isn't replacing it. Let this game be its own thing, and if it doesn't scratch the same itch that PoE 1 did, maybe its because there not trying to do that.
+1 Totally agree.
sure we will see how many of you still "+1 agree" after leagues start coming out every 3 months and you are making 3-4 characters per league.
Add Scion To PoE2

Lol based. So POE1 gave them brainrot. Can you give a link to interview or who said it?

Then maybe 3 months leagues don't fit the present state of the game. 4 or 5 month leagues would be better then.
you use brainrot, you have a fairly new account you are not the target audience for poe1 or 2 imho.

No, but it could be seen as an appeal to an authority, which I am just pointing out he is not. There's not an objective truth to this issue, he's just some schmuck like the rest of us when it comes to opinions about any given topic, but if he gave me D2 information I probably wouldn't fact check him.

They are repeating the exact thing they did with POE1. They wanted POE1 to be hard with less loot. They then added ruthless mode to mimic that beta feeling of PoE and it is played by barely any of the playerbase. So tell me, if people really liked the more difficult nature of ARPGs and things like ruthless mode, why do so few play it? Why are the more difficult ARPGs o much less populated than the non difficult ones?

They already cannibalized PoE staff for POE2 (stated only 10 people were working on POE1 now). Zero reason to think they won't phase PoE1 into maintenance mode once PoE2.

I'm partially on your side here, but I keep seeing this 10 staff member thing touted as if it were permanent. That's for the duration of settlers and we were told that so we wouldn't expect and massive changes to settlers past that point. It's not 10 staff members until the end of POE1.
