To much loot after the recent patch. EDITED: Updated with streamer video on this topic.

Speak for yourself. I spend all weekend with 0 loot, my gear is like garbage. I need some loot to fix.
They either listen and make the game fun, or it just dies in a few months. And every company wants to make profits off a game, especially a f2p live-service one like this.

Also less loot=less reason to buy stash tabs. That's bad for them too.

Good that they're actually listening to feedback, there's still about 95% left of the game to fix until its in a playable state though.

But i never said they should not buff how much loot drops. I only said that it was buffed to much.

Also, to my understanding. There is a bunch of basses not added to the game. And every base added is a potential rare that can be turned into varies shards.

Are there even swords added yet?
They set the loot drops just about right, not so much the screen is fill with loot, but just enough you don't have to run a zone 50 times just to get a set of boots. If OP is finding to much, simple don't pick it up. Difficulty is just right as well, Not a ball breaker but not a cake walk. the game is starting to feel good now.

The game will die if they do listen and make it easy which equates to BORING. If people beat the game and get fully geared in short time....NO REASON TO PLAY.

If it takes along time to beat and get godly geared people keep playing.

As is theres people already deleting maps easily with certain builds only wearing rares and magics, no uniques.
This has been proven false several times in POE 1. People had crazy wealth two leagues in a row and retention was fine. Most people quit before finishing the campaign anyway, making it more tedious probably wont keep them. To the people that crave "real challenge" try finding a job, it's rough out there.
I'm not a 10k hours POE player. I did enjoy POE SSF Ruthless though. I really like when drops are few and far between. I like to be excited about a yellow drop and checking if its good or not. I can't explain it, other than I dislike checking 100s of items every play session. To me it's also cool to make do with what I have and use currency to try and fix my gear if I'm struggling. I like to feel like I earned my way through.

Maybe if we buff loot, we can have a POE2 SSF Ruthless mode that's just like launch drop rate (or worse)?

because of those changes poe ended up where it is now

The best spot it's ever been with I think the most successful league ever? Boy, you got me there. People are delusional, is POE1 too easy or is it inaccessible? Make up your minds. It takes effort to get to these 1 button builds everyone touts as the ruin of the genre, which BTW D2 the "golden child" the endgame there is teleport spamming and using one skill. It's way worse than either POE in terms of difficulty of execution.

I share the same opinion that loot scarcity is good.

PoE1 started super hard with loot scarcity and now its the way it is because people have skill issues and complain on the forums.

Lets hope GGG doesnt listen to the very same people again.

"""skill issue""" =/= bad game design

This game will have about the same amount of players as Ruthless does in PoE 1 if the devs don't listen. And they don't want that, they want to make profit from this game. It's that simple.
