PoE2 is simply not an enjoyable game and the player counts are going to plummet

WASD movement completely changed the way feel distance. (detailed therefore slower, relatively to PoE 1. If my character gets quicker, I guess it would be felt a bit cramped.)

Edit: I'm very positive on the changes.
Everything I do should be wrong so please correct me if I do it right <3

80% positive reviews on steam. Seems like it's quite the opposite of what you thought guys.

Psst poe1 is 93 percent positive from recent reviews, and like 87 percent positive alltime.

IT was 82 percent positive yesterday, so its down 2 percent in a day.

How is that a good look?

Using statistics incorrectly to further a narrative isn't a good look.

PoE 1 is at 89% positive ALL time. So years of reviews.
Poe 2 is at 82% today or 81.70% to be specific. It's not down.

To have 82% positive reviews in EA on their biggest launch is a testament to GGG putting out a tremendous game and delivering.

PoE 2 positive review % will only go up as more people play and review the game over time. Again it's EA on launch weekend so anything over 70% is amazing.

Just try to use stastistics objectively next time.

Yeah I am done with it. I never liked souls game and that is all this is. A POE themed Souls game. I don't want to play a GAME to be frustrated with. I want to enjoy my time
Disagree with most of this post. The game is great. The only gripe I have is that GGG said currencies were supposed to be more frequent. I have been getting literally nothing but Augmentations and Transmutes at Level 40. I can do literally nothing with my rares. I've seen an Artificer orb 4 times.

Once the honeymoon phase wears off, player numbers are going to plummet and this game will be nothing more than a small niche in the APRG genre, unless some serious design and philosophy changes start happening by GGG.

Getting no loot is not fun.

Getting no currency is not fun.

Running around giant maze maps at the speed of a snail while having no movement skills is not fun.

The crafting system is terrible at this point.

Taking 15+ minutes to kill a boss unless you have a top meta build is not fun.

I just hit cruel difficulty and I think I'm already done. People playing endgame maps are also saying the endgame is horrible with no loot drops. The only people saying the game is good in its current state are copers. 99% of people are going to get to end campaign (or quit beforehand, more likely) and realize they have zero desire to do this slog all over again and roll another character.

There's a reason nobody plays Ruthless in PoE. For whatever reason, the devs thought it'd be a good idea to design the sequel around this entire concept of barely handing out loot. It's going to kill the game.

Well said.

I'm sure PoE 2 won't be for everyone. Some players don't like engaging immersive combat.

With that being said what level did you make it too? Gear and level in this game are extremely impactful. You can trivialize a lot of content once you are geared and the progression feels great. I have + 6 skills on gear and I've had a pretty large power jump.

I do feel like a lot of players just are giving up without trying to adjust too the amazing game that is PoE 2.

Do people not realize even PoE 1 is still a niche Arpg title?

The loot feels good because actual great upgrades are amazing. Do we need more currency drops? Yup. However the loot drops are in a good spot to make progression feel great.
