I think you need to get break-point level to be able to trade first, hence hit the wall.
Also, it should be less punishing than trade to get pass the wall in the first place.
Is that true? I mean, I have premium tabs and I listed an item pretty early. There does seem to be items to buy in the high teens for level req too. Like its just messaging players and trading.
What does "less punishing than trade to get past the wall" mean? Are you saying you shouldn't HAVE to trade? You don't. I didn't. If you're struggling though, why not trade for better gear? You could add "light radius" to your already ok-ish gear with that exalt, OR you could buy a straight upgrade from someone else.

they know their games cant appeal to everyone and they need to make sure they get peoples money BEFORE they get a chance to experience the game and judge the product
its why they cater to streamers so heavily.. streamers create hype and fomo

I tried. 3 different characters. about 60 to 70 times now.
i cant. i am not even getting close. In his 2nd phase he oneshots me, and in all my attempts i havent even gotten close to getting him under 80 percent.
i spent the last day just trying to kill him, again and again and again.
Cant do it. as soon as he does his red circle, i am dead. dodge doest go far enough to get out of it.
So, thats sad. i spend 60 euros on a support package, and i am hardlocked into watching the first act until the end, and then thats it.
I know, i know, skill issue, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Wanna bet i am not the only one with that issue? Think the others will spend another dime in a game they cant progress in? Me neither.
1. Start mercenary.
2. Grenade build. Grenade crossbow when available.
3. Ascend to Gemling. First to pick is "able to socket same support twice."
4. From all crossbow stats only damage ones matter. So 51 dmg is better than 50 dmg.
5. Pick all socket items, salvage them for socketing currency.
Socket damage runes in your crossbows.
6. Play GAS + Incendiary grenades. Support them with "MORE AOE" and "+2 projectiles".
You will zoom-zoom through content man. Trust me.

He is a DPS check boss
So unless you have enough DPS he will kill you.

I hope none of the people who say "I don't have the reflexes for this boss" drive a car. These attacks don't require some perfect parry timing. Most of them can be walked out of. You probably just need to stop pressing buttons and getting yourself animation locked. All of his attacks are well telegraphed and the only part that feels a bit like a gear check is where you have to stand in the middle of the ice storm. I did him in one try when I was around 15-17 and I've helped some people complete him later.
A valid argument for the boss is that when doing it in duo, if the other guy goes down, it is pretty much impossible to rez them.

OK this isn't a 100% helpful thing but here's my kill after rerolling my warrior for Molten Blast

It's a LOT easier with this skill than any of the other options and can be done fairly rhythmically.
I still contend it's a bit tedious and spammy, but it is doable.
My one criticism is the ability that was key to my success requires a reroll if you didn't take it

Maybe you need to go back and gear up a bit first. He was challenging but I got him on the first try, and I died 5 times to the bloated miller. I've had other bosses that I died to a couple times and came back to after getting some gear and a couple levels. The devs have stated that was their intended way to play.

Not only did i 'go back and gear up'. I created 2 more characters just cause i thought the class i played cant do it.
I went in with Warrior. Couldnt do it at level 20. You dont get xp anymore at level 20 in any zone in act 1.
So i rerolled. Into a Ranger.
Same thing. Went in at 17, and died. went out and leveled and geared up. to level 20. With the same result.
So i rerolled. Again.
Are you seriously telling me that rolling 3 characters, leveling them as high as the game allows, is not enough?
Also, because i know someone will say it: yes, my cold res is at 75%.
What do you think the other million players are doing? You think everyone is stuck there? It's not a game issue, it's a you issue.

He will melt everything in the campaign.
