Weird that everyone mentions build diversity as a selling point for d2 when every single build only ever got enough strength to wear gear, sometimes got just enough dex for max block (or ignored it completely), and just spent every single stat point possible on vitality, save for ES sorc builds. Should I call it Diablo 2: lord of vitality?

Then for skill points, pick a skill to spam, max all its synergies, max your staple aura/war cry/ curse/ passives and... That's it.

I mean I love d2 as much as anyone else, but nostalgia goggles are really toxic to this subject.

I know that joy. It's one of the reasons why I love PoE.
