Literally nobody bought an ultrawide screen to get an advantage in this game where they can see more mobs. That's one of the most out of touch ideas I've seen in a while.

People play this on ultrawide because it's a much more immersive experience.

If it's in the vision then it's fine.

Exactly. It's more immersive because you can see a lot more around you. You can see enemies approaching from further away and if you are playing a ranged character you can attack those enemies. You literally just said the reason why super ultra wide can be said to be an unfair advantage.

Also, ultrawide (21:9 aspect ratio) is still usable with no black borders according to the most recent GGG post. Most of the complaints in this thread seem to be talking about super ultrawide (32:9 aspect ratio). That is the ratio that they are saying can give an unfair advantage.

There is quite a big difference between ultrawide and Super ultrawide.

It's also most likely a combination of GGG staff jumping in on alt accounts to normalize the conversation and claim that we can all go find other games if we're, like, "sooooo offended".

Or people who don't have the luxury of a G9 or ultrawide and just want to complain about others enjoyment being stripped away.

Either way, for shame.

I was just looking up builds and info on the new league and ran into this thread. I own a G9, I won't be playing if the game can be run in ultrawide but the devs have deliberately limited it.

D4 doesn’t come out till who knows, so see in wraeclast for the next year or so.

It's kinda cheating though. Just saying.
