And as I said, that's great if the developers are making an in-house only game and playing solely among themselves. But if they release it to the public and expect consumption, they should rightfully be called out for any dumb decisions they make. That's a fact of business and commerce. It's called capitalism.
And capitalism is the root of everything that is wrong in this world... In my opinion.
Anyways, by making a hardcore ARPG, GGG did not really even set their sails to the path of most profit. It's a niche product, always has, and hopefully always will be. They never expected this many players, things just got out of control because certain other recently released title failed to meet people's expectations.

It means that I respect GGG, and I do want them to carry out their vision, and not pay too much attention to the random, selfish whims of the frothing masses; but that doesn't mean that there aren't objectively bad decisions that they should be called out on.
What are these "objectively bad decisions" then? All I hear is bunch of opinions.
If you're equipped to do so, read the numerous posts scattered all over these forums and discern for yourself what they are. I won't hold out any hope given your construals and tone thus far.

No capitalism and you wouldn't have this game you're apparently enjoying. But that's a different discussion. You take the good with the bad, you don't get to cherry pick.
It's a mislabeled niche product, because POE isn't really a hardcore game. Low skill cap and extremely arbitrary skill to success ratio. Hardcore gamers would prefer to play League.

Furthermore, hilariously, the supposed "hardcore league" should really be renamed "alt + F4 and dump all your items into default, further fucking up its economy, rather than perma lose them league". The only thing hardcore in this game is the RNG.

Then you won't mind if the game will change over time to fit a changing developer vision, as I enumerated on the last page, I assume :) Because people's opinions are easily swayed... by love... by force... by persuasive individuals... by 900+ pages forum topics... by stores not selling enough stuff...
That's right, I wouldn't mind that at all, in fact I'd prefer that. As long as it really is their vision that's changing the game, not greed or fear.

Anguished fans ask for:
- less desync
- less RNG
- better balance between skills and playstyles
- less valuable currency so it actually can be used for crafting or...
- a sensible crafting system
- more map drops
- less crap mods on gear and filtering the mod pool on notoriously hard to roll items like staves
- clearing of high difficulty content to be more rewarding
...
Frothing masses ask for:
- less desync
- full respec
- floating damage (might actually be nice to have considering some skills have incorrect info on char screen and wrong dps calc)
- a shitload of drops for one fellshrine run
- removal of #$&%$#W$ing lighting thorns that kill their one-skill-wonder builds
...
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

You should make a new thread with this.

What these forums reveal is the occasional constructive feedback under a shit ton of opinions spouted as fact. Classic example - this thread title.

The thing is though, when you have a massive amount of opinions all aligning, well ...
GGG - Why you no?

Agreed - then you have something GGG should listen to and take into consideration.
What I object to is the foolish view that "this is obvious - GGG should change this immediately". What a lot of people don't seem to grasp is that GGG are FUCKED in the sense that they now have only bad and poor options to choose from. One option will screw over x group and the other will screw over y group. Nothing from here out is going to be "easy", as some seem to think a balance change will be. I'd hate to be in GGG's shoes.
