The devs are aware of almost all the problems in game (balance, crafting and drop rates). The problem isn't that they aren't listening to you, it is that they have no "fix" for any of the issues. Without wipes happening there is always the fear something will be too OP and exponentially crumble the economies. So its difficult for them to boost this or that or multiple things at once at a noticeable rate. Just be patient or take a break for a bit.
Have faith, GGG plays the game too, it isn't like they go home and play D3 or TL2.

Actually, I think alot of people are leaning towards the notion, that D3, is getting fixed over time, and POE is getting destroyed over time.
D3 is built on a crap foundation; no true character development, limited build diversity. While it's true that Blizzard is improving their game more rapidly than GGG is improving theirs, at its core, PoE will always have more potential than D3 due to the core systems upon which it was built. For this reason, the choice is easy for me: support GGG in their endeavor. Time will tell whether the small GGG team and the PoE community will have what it takes to realize that potential, or if it will never rise up to our lofty expectations and ultimately be one-upped by a theoretically inferior design from a huge corporation.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. Yeah. Blizzard fucked up colossally; but they also have a huge amount more money and a much larger development team than GGG to direct towards rectifying the cock ups. In that light, GGG is going far, FAR better than Blizzard; even in light of D3 improving vs. PoE having rough patches.

I'm willing to bet that even some of the trolls know feedback is important and welcome it. What most people don't like is another "Your game sux wtf are you doing ur turning into D3 fuck u ggg" post or all the opinions spouted as fact without any sensible consideration for the developer's core intent.
Love to hear your feedback, not interested to hear fallacies presented as fact. Freedom of speech goes both ways.
It's a FACT that I think this game is slowly breaking, and that I'd like to offer up what little help I can in righting the ship.
Go back to your bridge.
Good for you buddy - whilst I think "this game is slowly breaking" is rampant hyperbole, I too want to provide feedback that helps the devs create a great game. Easy to write people off as trolls when you don't agree with them?
I'm just reacting to your little 'gag' and presenting the other, equally valid view which is that not EVERYONE who argues against your feedback is so stupid that they're saying 'don't give feedback to GGG about their game'. This is to Obsidus as well - point taken that not all posts are 'omg ggg suck game is dead'; what you see me answering to are those posts that present shit that isn't true.
In theory we're ALL trying to help GGG make the best game, right? Forums will always be forums - especially on the internets - but it doesn't hurt to try and present valid, useful feedback and that means separating some of the crap out that doesn't help anyone.

The problem is objectively discerning what is indeed crap and responding appropriately, versus "I don't like this, so let me attempt to post in an undermining manner", isn't it?

^ This.
PoE will never "head to D3 land" - a ridiculous thread title saved by some very good points in the actual thread. I haven't seen any great solutions to the drop-rates/crafting RNG yet but I hope someone - whether it's GGG or the community on these forums - comes up with something that works without killing the spirit of the game.

One very simple suggestion to tone down the impact of RNG, would be to make it so that when it comes to sockets and links, using a Jeweler's or Fusing, can never DETRACT from the current maximum amount. It can fail to add anything new, even at the current rate it does, but no more of this shit where you spend 1200 fusings trying to get a 6L, and in the meantime have to deal with the item being a piece of crap quite often, because you keep on getting a bunch of 2-3 links. It's simple changes like this that would make the massive amount of RNG in this game palatable.

Indeed it is. And if that's sarcasm then perhaps you could point directly at what you're being sarcastic about.

I've heard that suggestion here a few times and it seems reasonable on the surface of it. I admit I am far too lazy to actually figure out whether it would work adequately. For instance, wouldn't it turn the process into a boring transaction where you know you just have to spend 1200 fuses and you'll eventually get the desired end result? It may be redundant to say but I enjoy the unknown aspect of the process of fusing and would hate to lose that part of it.
Edit: also to ensure the game doesn't get flooded with 6L (which is a strong possibility once everyone has a 'known figure' (<-- assuming I've understood your suggestion correctly)) would you then be happy if GGG increased the fusing requirement to, say, 5000 for a 6L?

I don't mean a set amount of fusings that guarantee you getting a 6L; I merely mean making it so that using fusing and jeweler orbs do not come with the risk of devaluing items (whether it be monetary or a matter of efficacy). They can fail to upgrade an item, but they can never devalue it. Currently, you'll blow tons of orbs and not only NOT gain anything for the expenditure, you'll often devalue the item quite often in the process.
