The nerfs are welcomed.
Cluster jewels are a joke.
More damage on every single support is a joke.
Headhunter is a joke.
Flasks boosting ur dps by 2x is a joke.
Every player getting to end game content with minimal investment is a joke.
Good job GGG for finally stepping up.

Only the most elite players should be able to zoom to and through end game content. And even then, bosses should take some skill and time to defeat. Being able to zerg down sirus or maven each phase without them doing more than 1 ability is stupid and broken.

This is a game, not the real world. And the point of the game is to be difficult, not braindead. You can work hard in any league and get to the zoom zoom level of play, this league will be no different in that. The difference you WILL feel is that it will take more effort to get to that point beyond reaching lvl80 and equipping all the meta items you bought with RMT.

There are no difficulty modes lower than 'Difficult' in this game. If you want 'easy', there are other games. GGG wants to fit their game into a niche because it's better for the game, not because it makes more money. You're complaining about a company putting their game before profit and in the past, this type of behaviour has resulted in the best games of all time. Halo 1-3, anything by supergiant, Osrs, witcher, etc.
Know which games suck? The ones that listened to people's complaints that they should have access to everything in the game with little effort and put PROFIT ahead of game design. Let's list a few! Wow, Fallout, everything on mobile, Sport games, EA games, Activision games, Ubisoft games, Blizzard games... Do we need to go on?

The examples set in the industry show us that profit chasing causes games to be bad far more than making broad design changes.

Maybe try trusting GGG that they might know what they're doing from time to time. Yes, they get some things wrong but I have NEVER disagreed with one of GGG's balance changes after playing the result. You can trust them on this point above all else.

I like the patch. In 9 years of PoE this is my favorite - by far! Not sure about this contemporary "gaslighting" cult, to me it seems people get really angry if I express my appreciation of the nerfs.

TLDR: I like the patch.

All builds on the forum now deal less than half of the damage they did. And that's without taking into account the flask uptime nerf. So.. yeah it's kind of a bad decision. The fact that GGG has to resort to deleting tons of messages about it is indisputable proof.

i'm not sure it's GGG deleting all the posts. some of them could also be the forum issues with security token errors that happen all the time. you click submit, page refreshes and you don't actually see the red text on the dark background stating the error so you close the tab or move on to something else. when you go back, post is missing when it was actually never saved in the first place due to massively outdated and flawed forum code. you of course can't see the backend PHP files on the server but from the source and dev console view, this place is a complete mess to say the least. kinda like the game LOL

believe me, i'm not defending the over use of moderation that GGG uses for editing or deleting posts they don't like to see. it's a forum, all posts, except pure spam, porn, bullying, etc, should stay as they are. it's a forum, and if you don't want people to see what you say, then don't say it.

but many issues will likely never get fixed due to lack of staff to handle new game content, game issues, forum issues, customer support issues... a lot of people are needed for the amount of players they have. but, THEY choose to only hire locals to keep absolute control. i know a couple of players that were told their issue is put on hold due to lack of staff. not exact words but i'm sure you get it.

Your opinion is not worth more or any more valid than any other player's opinion, whether they are streamers or not, are experienced or new-comers and therefore there is no need for GGG to treat your opinion-piece as gospel or even give it the time of day you're so desperate to demand from others.

Sorry you needed someone else to tell you this instead of arriving to that conclusion yourself.
