Disappointment with 3.14 "Balance" & The Gaslighting of Anyone who Doesn't Agree with all Changes
i agree, please respect our time when makin "nerfs" / Altering existing items if u gotta change stuff drastically at least leave us people on standard a "chance" to save our legacy items instead of makin them completely worthless ie our aura medium clusters
Edit: Also for the haters out there this is the "feedback" part of the forum...we are allowed to have our opinion on the direction that game should take instead of just the a typical "deal with it, that's just how things are". Standard should be preserved. let the leagues be leagues, and standard have its legacy gear.

Not gonna lie, the more I play the more I feel like just stop playing, there have been some good things with these recent updates, compared to 3.13, but I'm about to reach my limit.
Pretty much when I started playing (3.13), my build was squishy as hell, relied way too much on Fortify and portals and I'd die constantly but damage wise it felt good for the investment that I made on my character, it wasn't anything out of this world but it allowed me to do stuff with some confidence (shaper, maven invitations, elder, etc), the death of Fortify got me pissed off but with time and thought I actually managed to improve my defenses with the Passive Tree changes, got rid of Fortify, remade the tree about 15 times, introduced new defensive skills into the build and finally managed to hit the sweet spot in terms of survivability, but damage wise it has taken a huge toll, too much imo, I can still get it better but that'll require me to invest even more than the current 70~80 exalts that I already spent, and I honestly don't feel like investing more into it, much less getting into a build that I simply do not enjoy just to be able to do content. Please rethink these changes GGG. As for harvest, I wasn't here but from what I've been reading and from my understanding, harvest does not belong to PoE (sort of) there's a lot of RnG in PoE (pretty much almost everything is RnG based) and Harvest was too deterministic, not that I wouldn't enjoy, I would actually make a lot of use of harvest to improve my build being the min-maxer that I am, to me that's what's crafting is about, anything that involves RnG is pretty much gambling, which just isn't my taste. Still, old Harvest would be welcome, I do not know any statistics regarding player retention, but personally I would love to not only improve my build but also take a deep dive into other builds through trial and error instead of following a guide, but this is me, I like to explore, just not under such level of rng. Pff, who even plays Standard?

Game is crap at this point, balance is crap, do not spend time or money for a crap product simple as, you can write all you want somebody thinks it is a good idea and he, they are on the other side of they keyboard programing stuff. I hate every single one of them for wasting my time

speaking as a newish player, this game is a really weird experience, it feels like the devs created a masterpiece and then proceeded so loose their minds. it seems the devs put a lot of effort into making the game and then put just as much effort into destroying it. their solutions to problems seem worse than the actual problems, balancing is non-existent, why is there so much unnecessary rng everywhere, why are there no good drops, do people actually like trading? maybe I'm weird but i don't want to trade, hell I don't particularly want to craft either, rather than have put up with it just I stopped playing. i'm not sure if i can speak on behalf of new players, but i do know most new players aren't going come to forums to explain why they stopped playing, and i think we can all agree this game is unwelcoming to new players, how long can a game last realistically if it struggles to pick up new players?
