Getting sick of this 1 shot bullshit

Well basically this is all spanning from the log out macro and short log out time. They first need to up log out time to like 8 seconds and simultaneously rebalance all the monster dmg in game.

As pure HC player, I'd rather struggle and die in some fight than by 1 hit / pseudo 1 hit. The situation is basically as bad as when I started playing whole of my guild was HC players, now almost whole HC guild is playing SC. So they will have to do this rebalance sooner or later.

And at this moment, I think HC community would rather have 8 sec log out time (even when they lost connection - we could survive sometimes) than unreasonable 1 shots.

This is absolutely the core problem. Doesn't even need to be a 8 second logout timer either. Most hardcore deaths occur in less than a half-second. Even with a 3 second logout timer, and damage re balanced around that, it would provide 6 times the amount of reaction ability.

I don't understand how people get to level past lvl 90.

Once my character only runs t16 maps, and end game I can't level because I die from explosions, lag some garbage mechanic that doesn't make any sense like explosions I can't see.

I just stripped my brand class tonite. I kill anything with one click. I can stand in delirium 100% mobs for a few secs. Yet I still die enough that I can't level unless I stop doing the fun stuff in end game.

You can get past 90 by running yellow maps. You're pushing your character beyond its capacity and die from it.

That's not the fucking point, ffs.

If the game requires you to be able to deathlessly complete juiced T16's at 89 then the game should also be giving you the tools to do so.

We all know, even you, that the game is imba, in at the beginning of a league, that to do T10 maps w/o fear of constant 1-shots, you need gear from juiced T16s. lolwut

Path of Exile is a great game, but there's a reason it never gets above 300k concurrent players.

No. You do not need this kind of gear. The game also doesnt require you to do juiced t16's deathless at any level, not just 89. There is a reason you have 6 portals. Even my most flop of a build that i were just goofing around with trash uniques could do yelow maps deathless.
I have no problem dying to a stupid mistake or to a telegraphed attack that I failed to move out of, most if not the OVERWHELMING majority will agree with that sentiment, because it is a logical challenge to an action game, especially an arpg.

What I have a SERIOUS problem with, is getting 1 shot by something I cannot even see coming. Both as a matter of absurd levels of onscreen clutter, and tiny little flea-sized specs magically that hit for massive levels of damage on a character that is gg'd out with their endgame gear.

It just happened again 2 minutes before this message, wasn't a big damage spike, it was a one shot (and no not by Maven or an equally challenging endgame boss, just an alch'd red map).

Please do not sit there and pretend this isn't a significant issue that doesn't put unrealistic expectations on the playerbase; we all know it isn't even if you sit there and try to white knight for GGG.
The main issue which has been a problem for years is they balance the game around the top 1% of players who have multiple mirrors in gear and 20k+ hours of play experience.

I legit belive they make 1 shots exist just so they can watch hc streamer rip clips.

This is so BS!

They balance their game around the idea that the majority of players always have something to push towards. Always have a carrot. Always wanting to "go on". You know, play more, achieve more and spend more time. I never earned more than a mirror in a league, and I've always been able to do most - if not all content. You are probably in the same boat, yet you whine about "the 1%".

Sure, the higher tier content you run, the better gear it requires from you. It's sort of the blueprint in games like PoE. But lots of "1%" finished all content after a few days; how the hell can a three month league be balanced around them?

Yes but that type of push yourself and your build content to me is things like deep delve, 100% delirious maps, and super juicing content like that. Even things like maven and stuff is more about knowing the fight than a dps or gear check for the most part.

Disagree. Deep delves and T19 Delirium maps are there for the "1%" to push themselves. Content that isn't required at all. But the atlas? Red maps? A8 Sirus? Should absolutely offer a challenge to the majority, requiring them to keep improving their gear, get to know their character and its limits and learn from their mistakes.

And if an easy rolled red map should offer some kind of challenge, a sick-rolled, multi-damage mod map has to be able to kill you fast with all the recovery we have access to. A player needs to learn that these mods are dangerous and will kill you, if you don't have mechanics to counter them.

My point is that I'm far beyond the gear, dps and tank level where any of that content should be a challenge.
I can face tanked sirus die beams for fucks sake.
Why does some random rare in a map 1 shot me when I can stand in an end game bosses highest dps attack and not die.

This is my complaint in simplest form.

Who told you Sirus does the most damage? He is just a chump with no map modifiers. Every boss without map modifiers is a joke.
