Tbh you can make pretty decent endgame builds with less than 100ex. And its not hard to farm 100ex if you play for 1-3 hours per day, even I was able to. You just need a few lucky drops and sell some harvest crafts. But I agree on some stupid mechanics. I had a void sphere in a ritual oneshotting me because it spawned inside me and hit me like 3 times in 0.1 sec but my res is also really bad (-20). Also I feel like the game has shifted from "taking some hits and survive to kill" to "kill before even get hit once" alot. I have 16-18k ehp vs elemental on my discharge chieftain at 6k hp and its just enough to survive most content just because he kills before its getting dangerous.
Bro, I don't know who you are watching, but most players consider it a good league if they get 20ex. If it was easy to farm 100ex, you'd see items be closer priced to their standard variants.
maybe he isnt watching, but instead playing the game and making currency
in this current league, you can make at least 5 ex an hour in raw currency just blasting harbingers in valdos rest, with no investment what so ever. no fancy watch stones, no juice beyond alch and go, not even chisels. someone who plays 3 hours per day can farm over 100 ex in one week just doing this. if you are struggling to make money in the current league, you are either not utilizing any of the profitable mechanics, or simply just playing extremely inefficient. anyone can do it if they just know how

It's all RNG man. I wasn't harbinger farming, I was harvest farming. Sometimes it's just RNG is RNG though.
But again, I think that's full of shit. Did hours of Valdo's rest with harbingers, and I was lucky if I got an ancient shard, let alone higher. Sometimes the shards just don't fall. Harvest farming, sometimes you just don't get the grove, or you roll bad on all the mods, even with all the Hamlet passives *shrugs*
But again, I took a break and came back, and clearly this forum still doesn't realize that most of them are like the .05% of people make more than 20ex per season. I can play for maybe an hour or two every other day, and fortunately, I have been lucky off harvest farming, but still barely 50ex all in this league. And probably 30 of it from harvest farming/trading that it feels like every day, some yahoo wants to get rid of harvest farming to shut out what little consistent currency method I have to me.

I think you are way off. I made 30ex first week....over 100 by now and I dont even play all that much.

if this is the case you were doing like 3 maps an hour, and you probably arent nearly as efficient as you think.
take out like 60 valdos maps from your tab, roll them, and put them in your inventory.
take out watch stones so that you only valdos rest maps can drop from the tier you have selected, then chain all of them with just harbies + boss (for more maps). you will see consistent profit
if you cannot chain 60 maps like this in under 2 hours you need to look into your efficiency, because that is the problem
i have done large quantities of valdos rest maps this league, because its such braindead farming with no effort needed, and i have kept tab on what drops in several sessions. the results are quite consistent, and i have also compared this to other people doing the same, getting very similar results
