If you want a serious answer it's because reddit has an upvote system. It's a double edged sword, yes it does leave the possibility of creating an even bigger echo chamber but at the same time it's a quick and easy way to spot good ideas/opinions.
Example is the current #1 thread right now: it's a suggestion to make sulphite tradable or at least it's missions so that delvers don't have to be forced to play with a janky resource system just to keep delving.
That's a pretty sensible idea and it's only that visible because of the way upvotes work. If that same thing was posted here it would've been lost in the sea of worthless drivel.
With that said ggg does read some of their subforums very closely, like the bug report forum. In this case bug reports don't normally come with idiotic opinions, they're mostly objective in nature and they're issues that need to be addressed. Hence it's actually safe to read every thread and expect to get value from it.

I wouldn´t mind some extra softsoft-standart for people who like it, but standart-standarts only purpose for me personally would be getting a selffound to 100 with dp some day.

by far the worst mechanic in the game. Grinding to 100 already takes enough time without 1 shot and lag xp loss.

It is funny how angry people get or how personal certain players take this. Some of us simply do not like the death penalty, we have a right to NOT like it! As I have suggested, let us be on a separate server, you elitists can stay together and have your little competitions and hash it out in your own global chat.
I have money to spend regardless, how I play is 100% up to me and my enjoyment. I absolutely will not follow a 3rd party program on how I am supposed to play a game. I enjoy figuring that all out myself, otherwise, what is the point? Like I said, I like this game enough to play it, but only to a point. GGG has built an amazing product, but as stated in earlier posts, they could increase their volume immensely by offering a separate server without EXP loss.
There are WAY too many players asking for the same thing for this not to be true. I just wonder how many people have left to not come back and support them?

For your information, 98-96 is 2 level difference, not 3. No wonder your builds don't work out with that level of math skills.
Besides, your just using excuses here for why you keep whining instead of working on your builds. So you don't take my advice because i am a newb with lower level than you. And i guess you don't take I_Nos and Jamfaces advice because they are no lifers right? So everyone with lower level than you is a newb and everyone with higher level is a no lifer, leaving you as the only person on this planet qualified to talk about this topic?
I think you have some real problems man, and the DP has nothing to do with them.

Again, you are not qualified to talk on it because you have literally no experience in it, a death at 98 is nothing like a death at 96, its not even comparable, its 20 minutes vs 2 hours work.
And if you know as much as you claim about the game you would already have a 100.
I_no and jamface do not have melee 100's either, they play same meta crap everyone else does.
