Wolcen overtook POE as the new number 1 arpg game on Steam (127k concurrent players at the moment)

I uninstalled wolcen on the same day I installed it. Waiting for the next major patch.

Wolcen is over bugged , but it's still far more fun than poe actually.

and I was really but really tired of having my head smash on poe.

And in other news movies that have been out for 10years are not selling tickets at the Box office like new movies that just came out. /S

But this time people actually went back to the old movie after less than a week of release of the new movie because it turned out to be shit that just looked nice. (just like all those movies with epic trailer that shows pretty much every good moment of the movie and the rest is snoozefest)

Wolcen is shit, like really. optimization is worse than it is in poe x'D
combat is worse.
graphics is better but yeah does it matter? no lmao.
It has worse balance.(yeah it's possible)

I've played Wolcen quite a bit since release, well into endgame. Its boring..., endgame uses the same 4 tilesets over and over. As for the bugs, well its playable, but it shouldn't of been released in its current state. This game might be amazing in a year or two, but right now its average.

I think average is a fair review. It has potential, and some good foundational mechanics.

I actually really like the town building mechanics and expeditions.

As far as content goes, I think it's ok for a release. Keep in mind PoE at launch had no Dominus, no Malachi, no atlas, no Elder/Shaper, no Atziri. No delve. No mastermind, no masters.

Mechanically crafting was a mess, there was desync, Passive tree wasn't very good, on and on we could go.

Wolcen needs some time to bake, and I'm not sure a private baking is as good as a public one. I do think having millions of testers and data is extremely helpful. Now its just a matter of what they do with it.

I am still trying to get a refund...What a bad idea to tunnel 7 mobs packs in one dungeon. Doesn't even feel like you are killing stuff.

Are you referring to Bleeding Edge, Winter’s Grasp, Bulwark of Dawn, or whatever? Of course they are functioning much earlier because they are broken and do unintentionally high damage.

when lots (I would say about 1/4) of Wolcen passive tree either doing nothing or wrong thing, it is really hard to say which game needs less investment to enable a build. However, if you are saying it in a sarcastic way, then yes, until last week's patch, you could literally pick TWO passives in Siegebreaker node and became regen and block god.
