Wolcen overtook POE as the new number 1 arpg game on Steam (127k concurrent players at the moment)
" I dont use STEAM (for poe), did you count me in also? Only time i use steam is when i play Destiny 2 or ESO How many players like me out there, playing POE without steam integration?

i swear to god I'm not a white knight, but if you gonna say something like this game lose that game win you better learn ARPG is a marathon, not a sprint.

Wolcen hasn't got me. It's playable, but I don't really see the point of it yet. Maybe later. Playing up one of each class and they don't really play all that differently.

" link that quote. The last i'd heard wasn't from chris but stated that it was around 50/50 but slightly more now using steam. Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

I mean, we have the numbers. Back when PoE set its record high on Steam, it had 188,970 players, and 123,565 were on Steam. This means only 35% of the players used the non-Steam client.
PoE's highest concurrency ever was 225,000 btw, but this included consoles. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

maybe TGGG dev's will start thinking twice on several things.. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."
Poe 0.2/10 Returning to poe in 3.27: ATROCIOUS game performance, 5/10 league and I apprently missed the loot back in the last league. The more things change the more they stay the same.. |
