Allowing people to scam on the biggest ARPG in the world with no punishment is appalling.

They should, and do, stay out of it.

If they started banning people due to "evidence" all they would do is create a new game people would play getting people banned. They'd have to hire people to play "judge" and it would suck all the resources out of the game they've made. So they stay the fuck out of it. Until the scammer breaks a game rule, then they get them.

Changing an item in a trade isn't breaking a rule.

Walking out on an agreement isn't breaking a rule.

None of the shit moves that scammers are pulling are breaking any rules.

So GGG has to stay out of it.

The only way they're going to ever stop scammers is to remove trade from the game... and they're not willing to do that.

Or introduce AFK sales (auction house)... which they're also unwilling to do.

Yup if only there were good real reasons to never have ah in this game... But there are none so they are doing to make your life miserable and to support their growing scammer community.

Also i have accidentally listed a lot more items for chaos and alts instead of exalts due to misclicks then i had attempts to scam me, and each one of those would be insta bought on AH and would be gone, but i guess that is ok coz it is my fault i didn't check the currency i put it up for? Unlike you not checking the item you buy that is wrong.
Biggest ARPG in the world? isn't that Diablo 3?

What's the point of that when they remove any negative posts? So you're supposed to trust someone who has nothing but good reviews on a website that removes all negative ones?
the carry threads and crafting threads are like having a different opinions than most of the sheeps here it except they don't get deleted in favour of the OP you just have to read a bunch of bullshit from angry fanbois.

never, NEVER post that you got scammed here or reddit.. you put yourself in a situation where most of this people will make fun of you and nothing else.

They dont within the pages themselves, you will find bad reviews (Couldnt kill the boss, left with loot).

Now, if you accuse them of scamming, mods might delete it.

Ive never used the services myself, so not sure, but if I felt I had to, then Id go with someone in a guild, lots of reviews, and still cross my fingers.
I never get scammed and I am still annoyed by all the time wasted trading idiots with no intention of selling the item..
Trade is annoying enough without the added frustration of 3 losers in a row trying to switch out a shavs.
There is another annoying thing too. Every time someone whispers me for a trade I immediately stop what I am doing (if I can, if I am fighting an Elder guardian for example I cant do that), invite them and wait in my hideout. Plenty of times the potential buyer doesn't come. Why? Because they've probably whispered a dozen people. If the item is fairly common and not some niche rare the best way to proceed without wasting your time is to whisper a bunch instead of doing the good old whisper than wait. I cant even blame buyers for that, it is completely 100% the system's fault.

I agree.

Would be cool if I could open a trade window wherever I currently am, with the item the buyer wants already placed in the window and I just have to confirm once he/she places the respective currency in the window. That would at least be an improvement of sorts....I hope/think. Currently there are just too many situations in which I either can't or don't really want to trade (delve, incursion, zana-one-portal-mission, etc. etc.)
