Totally agree with this. No one should take you seriously at the moment.

That's right, you too, have a sit and let the big boys handle this.

It serves its rightful purpose in sorting away those who can't understand it the first time they read it. We entertain ourselves while the battle persists through the lines.

While I myself as a competitive Melee player saw a horrible dumbed down sequel called Brawl which involves no skill I can pretty much second this.
But I do think stuff needs to be nerfed and drops need to be increased significantly in solo especially. Throw in something like monster power, casuals can play normally while the elitist pricks can just enjoy higher difficulties. Catering to a niche crowd is cool but it's also a moronic business decision. You can provide both "core" and "casual" (as much as I hate these terms) people a way to enjoy this game without messing up what the game is all about.
Like in Melee, you can have a bullshit casual match with items on, or just disable items entirely and have a competetive match. The key is being able to play however you wish to play.

What is RP? I am for real son, the real deal.

While you are tunnel visioning on I, i am with with the all and manipulate the force around me.

RP = Role Play, staying in character at all times while on the server

I ask because you sound like a bad fantasy novel. Also, based on this I would say please don't call me son, son. Get the feeling I'm much older than you.

I would like to point out however, that I'm not entirely disagreeing with your, simply stating that there are changes that can be made that will benefit everyone without ruining YOUR game. FFA loot is fine and dandy, and I understand the appeal. But a loot system that is configurable per-party is still a benefit to everyone.

The masses want it easier eternally, and do not look back, ever.

The masses will bring the game to the point where the few with leave because they cannot distinguish themselves by their skill and knowledge, and then the masses will leave because they follow and secretly wants to be like the few.

Have courage GGG, we believe in the hardcore ARPG game, free loot, etc etc, a bloodthirsty enviroment where the few will have great fun, and the masses will not get their ways.

We already see it happening,

Some want floating damage numbers, some want no FFA loot, etc etc

They are here now in the community and they will not stop asking you to make the game more mindless.

I pray that you have the courage to resist and know that the game is yours to make to your vision, and that no amount of cry will make you give in.

It is like children - once you start giving in they know they can have their way and will never stop.

Never give in. You are reviving my hope in the ARPG genre.

How does having floating damage numbers make the game more mindless?

And so it begins.. and with that they end the challenge because people are people they will chose the safe route, even if the dangerous one is more interesting. This is step one in the process of ditching FFA.

As i said, eternally people will push for more mindlessness, it is in our nature.
