Feedback and Suggestions (Path of Exile 1) - GGG do not give in to the crying masses - Forum

Oh boy, I leave to go home and play POE and this thread has gotten so much bigger. Personally, I'm just curious to see as to where this game is heading. Yes, this game has changed drastically from CB - not always for the better but such is the way things in life are. Maybe I can get some of the other older CB players, including my bud Charan, to pipe up on this observation. Does it seem to you that the monsters may have gotten "stronger" and the player abilities much weaker? Just entered Act III for the first time last night and I've noticed a dramtic "shift"/change in the npc's - kind of reminds me of going from hell to inferno in D3. Just some observations and curious on yours so far... The Pope quit, a meteor fell on Russia, an asteroid came close to the earth, there's snow in Arizona, star wars and star trek have the same director! Who the hell is playing jumanji? Devs have ideas, present them to the community, which offers feedback, which is processed by the devs and then decisions are made on how to improve the content. It is just like lobbyism in the US. Keep applying pressure and influence will arise. The magnitude depends on the level of resistance of the establishment. " floating damage numbers" Explain plz ? is this dmg numbers that u see in game over the things you hit? to see what dmg u deal? or is it something else? OP is faulty in his assessment since he claims that free loot,no damage numbers etc. is hardcore and not brainless. Also, nobody except GGG themselves know what their vision is, so stop patronizing. Now go ahead and call me nubcake. That's basically what you have been doing for these 18 pages anyway... Also, care to explain to me why floating numbers are goign to make this game easier? I've always thought that it was kind of "elitsm tool" to measure each others e-peen (you know in case when you could see dmg from other members of your party). Not even mentioning that these floating numbers are kind of combat log which is yet another tool to measure your awesomeness (a.k.a. true dps). Veiled threats about entering your 'circumference' do not a linguist make. I am one of these near-casual gamers you speak of. I was once a much more dedicated gamer, but life has caught up with me and I have other responsibilities. I would like to see the game change, but I want it to be in a way that will not anger all of the hardcores. There are solutions to the problems being faced that will benefit both parties. You can remain blind to this if you want, but the fact remains. The loudest cries are from those who cannot see that good change can come. To the OP Arpgs are known for being no-skill games, that's why many of older ppl (including me) play it. Actually PoE demands zero skill to play it. There are no timing/cooldowns managing needed here, there are no prediction based skills (quick example d2 frozen orb), you need a bit precision but it's due to fucked up hitboxes on some mobs. Well you may not care that i do not take you seriously, but you should heed your own advice and take me a lot less seriously.. getting all worked up like that, thinking i am maximum extreme etc. Would be best for you to take a sit on the side here while i shift the Aether.
