Additional information...

Theme: Northern castle on a glacial fairway
layout: Coral hideout

Original thought process behind this hideout project was:
"I want to make a ship but I don't want to make a whole hideout in a ship."

Coral hideout was large enough and it had pretty lighting, so I was trying to use that as a major light source and as a tool to create shadows in some areas.

Most of the structures where created on the slopes and near the unusable parts of the hideout which made this project quite difficult for me and it was one of the reasons that made this project take way longer than I had originally planned.

I hope you liked it & thanks for your time.

Here is my submission for the contest.

The Bastion of Exiles.
A final haven for those abandoned to Wraeclast, working together with the other masters you have built somewhere that can slowly begin being called home whilst gathering more lost souls.

Hey everyone !

Here is my hideout. I'm sad to be limited about the number of decoration (762) because de coral map hideout is very huge !

Anyway, I introduce you my home:

THEME: The lost pirate exiled island

The pirate ship

Alva's room

Mystic Navali's room

Voodoo Haku's room

Niko's mine

the lost forest zone (einhar and tora room)

The lost pirate treasure zone (zana's room)

The resting and dining zone (navali's and hereo exile zone)

other zones

Fishing zone :)

Welcome to the Desecrated Backwoods, residing deep within the dark forest. Many exiles have lost both their sanity and life here. The narrow paths around the small clearing are filled to the brim with bodies of failed adventurers and their petty loot. Their sanity seems to be draining quicker than anywhere else. The exiles that were driven to insanity have nowhere to hide, nowhere to run, and seem to fade into the woodland to become a part of nature again. How will it be exile? Are you sane enough, or will you become permanent decor of the Desecrated Backwoods?

Welcome to my submission for the Path of Exile hideout competition.
I made this hideout for my own usage and i wanted it to be usable whitout slowing my farming down so I've tried to place everything in reasonable places so i dont lose time mapping and such. Usability was key for me, while sticking to the theme.
The only thing you need to pay for to get the look for the hideout is the blood rain and the hideout works whitout it aswell even though i prefer the dark moody atmosphere it gives.

I hope some of you like it atleast.
If anyone wants to check it out ingame you are welcome to whisper or add me on the character Ohlolololol

The Exodus hideout, made using the Coral hideout tileset and a generous helping of decorations, tells a small story of losing your home and finding a new one, as you explore it:

You wake up after being rescued by a fisherman after your little wrecked sailboat washes ashore on the beach.

You walk along a calm beach where seaweed is carried along by the peaceful waves.

A miner called Niko greets you as you go further inland, all sorts of interesting gems and minerals being carried in and out of one of the many mines he has found and abandoned in his life.

Further inland, embers drift upward as you find a burning forest fire caused by raiders torching a small cottage and tents that are no longer inhabitable.

Following the trail of destruction, you meet a caravan with a broken wheel which carries the refugees from the forest who have had to leave their home.

The caravan is just entering a marketplace with a small dock, and the only way off this island: Alva's excursion boat.

The only place it carries anybody is to the Vaal temple in order to find Alva more riches and Vaal treasure, such as the curious little creatures she has decided to adopt as pets.

Speaking of which, where does she keep all the things she finds anyway?

In her secret treasure trove cave of course!

Going up some ornate steps, you find an altar where Navali contemplates the days before she came back to life while facing an equally blind goddess. It is almost as if she can actually see.

A small seating area with some fountains provide some coolness during hot summer days.

Towards the shore you find a terrace on a cliff where the ancients must have performed astrological observations, and which now has the power to transport you to entirely different worlds.

Down along the shore you spot an abandoned seaside temple...

where you befriend a woman called Jun reminisching in front of a memorial to her old family for whom she has vowed revenge.

Although she misses them dearly, you learn that she has found new friends too (now including you!) and is waiting for them to join her for lunch.

Meanwhile in the forest, Einhar is preparing dinner for everyone by arranging herbs to roast a Rhoa he has hunted while camping under a sacred tree.

"Hideout in the middle of the bloody jungle"
Overgrown Hideout

I love the overgrown theme. I decided I wanted a home repurposed from an overgrown temple shrine in the middle of the jungle, but with an aesthetic more Highgate/Sarn rather than something like Atzoatl.

I tried to keep it from being too crowded or dark, and varied the green with a progression of other colors.

Long lasting peace from Navali's shield is about to get shattered. Inhabitants are fleeing through the back gate. An isolated tribe lies to the west, although they have never been found.

I call this hideout "The City of God". It is a tiny but cozy hideout. https://youtu.be/mShcbedrhZI
