it's optional if you want to miss items and currency.

easy choice if you ask me but if you like to lose you can of course turn it off.

It is an option since it will be loot filtered.

Idk for D3 never care for it but this effect already is in game whit unique and now its a option for custom filter effect, i like it a loot.
Currently Loot is very hard on my eyes and if nothing this will make it look more epic and can make sub class into filters with ease.

This can be nice for some items. But not all currency. Make it optional.

Hasn't this always been a thing? The animation was just far more subtle IIRC
