" Bleed and poison were nothing alike, nor was bleed ever actually used other than in few very, very rare cases. What identity exactly are you talking about? it was useless in almost every case imaginable. Also what exactly was unique about it? that it's basically poison, only crippled version of it that scaled only off phys dmg and in most cases was just totally useless? No rest for the wicked.

Poison stacks and is just flat dot...
Bleed is 1 stack and increased damage while moving. I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all.

" They are both damage over times that scale from a physical hit one doesn't stack the other does, they are very similar in principle its just that poison is so vastly better in a majority of cases (primarily because high DPS is very heavily reliant on APS scaling, its very difficult to get high dps with slow attacks) Gladiators and bleed EQ builds are about the only uses I can think of in the current version that were any good, gladiators were more for the explosion anyway though. Puncture traps too I guess are pretty amazing for gibbing bosses/rares on bow trappers. Poison on the other hand scales beautifully with attack speed and has wither to triple its damage. This keystone is just... really bad, most keystones have some real character about them this one just makes bleed even more meh. Much like other people here I think it should have had some kind of less damage on the actual attack and way more damage from the bleed. |

" This is wrong. The Keystone makes bleed better, MUCH better. With this one, you really start to feel the effect of Bleed. You can´t nerf hit damage because even with a full bleed investment, the hit damage will still be better than the bleed damage. If it would be less hit damage, they would need to get rid of the 50% less on this one. |

I think this was meant for fast, little damage attacks like cyclone. I actually like it, it's likecorrupting blood in a way. And to all the haters: screw you, you aren't forced to take it!

People like to use DOT mechanics because currently it is free bonus damage with little investment. Now you instead have to build around it to work. Nice new build options for sure, but hell, I just play POE for sick builds not creative builds.

" Problem is, you cant really build around it. There are not enough support gems that work on both, the bleed AND the hit. Skill - Brutality - Maim - ... You can now take three supports that either support the hit OR the bleed. The only exception that comes to my mind right now is EQ, where you have Rapid Decay and Less Duration, which both buff the Bleed as well as the hit. |

Getting 20 bleed and infinite poison out of no build investment people think it is no big deal. Now GGG invents three giant keystones and lots of humorous uniques and crap for you to squeeze out a bit of juice you think it is awesome?
A Lamborghini is definitely worse than a Toyota Camry because I won it free in a lottery while you paid 20K for your Camry. LOGIC. |
