64bit client crashing on startup

same problem here. Fullscreen mode causes the 64 bit client to crash.

Tried to start the exe directly and with admin rights, but it ONLY works with windowed fullscreen. this seems to be stable and looks fine. but fraps overlay wont work anymore, so I am looking forward to switch back to oldscool fullscreen

I'm having the same problems.
I get the DX11 error dialog. DX9 client now crashes at login page.
Windowed did not fix the problem, only for the DX11 client.
The windows update is already installed on my PC.
Removing my old PoE settings worked for the DX11 client.
Administrator failed.


EDIT: If it helps at all im not using the steam client, I am using the standalone.

Getting the same error message as poster. Crash on startup when using the 64-bit client, and the 32-bit seems unstable and have crashed a couple of times. Smoother thou! Using standalone-client.

ATi 280xt

Same here. I can get it to run as Windowed Fullscreen but nothing else. Seems to work well once I get it to launch.

Nvidia 980Ti in 2560x1440, Win 10 64-bit.

Looking at the log file it seems to not recognize the video card properly and this causes it to bomb:

for the 64bits client nothing work, steam or stand alone, both windowed/full or windowed borderless....
the 32bits client run well.

win7 +i5 +550ti +16G ram, dx11 allready installed and Running lot of games on it.
