Empower makes your skill gem higher level and the base mana cost of a higher level (non-melee) skill will be more.

Does the decay effect from Essence of Delirium work like ignite effects? ie. the largest damage is always applied regardless of the most recent hit?

the reason I ask this is because skills like vortex/essence drain will scale the decay damage if applied with the skill resulting in a larger decay.

Does Lacerate duel wield work with southpaw by getting a stat stick?

Latley I have been trying to craft myself a +3 Fire staff and I'm about 10-15 Shrieking essence of rage into this procces and I just wanted to check if it's even possible to roll the +1 mod when I'm using a essence.

So I got the enchant "40% increased herald of ash damage" on my abyss helmet. My question is, what damage is this increasing, and is this a good enchant for a melee/aoe build (I am ancestral warcheif w/ facebreakers)
So does this increase the damage dealt or the overkill ignite damage? Or?? It did not change my tooltip dps at all.

Thanks viper. So this would be the same as having a level 1 increased burning damage support linked to herald of ash? (Level 1 is 40% increased burning damage).
