Hey Chris how is that player interaction trading working out? Ow Wait

Same frustrations here.

Sometimes I am the guy in the diff league saying "Sorry". It is frustrating on both ends.

I wish they would back off the no-automation stance. I dont understand why it would be bad :(
A simple solution is improve the api so that poe.trade shows only people online in the league you're searching and add a lesser /dnd command like /notrade that people can use when they're doing things they don't want to leave (like master rotations or labyrinth) for trading.

The only problem I have is that poe.trade doesn't update instantaneously. So I'll get several replies for an item sometimes. Not a huge issues. For the most part I enjoy the experience.
Trini, your posts, why not present them in a productive manner, instead of an angry, whiny manner? Just a thought.

Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
Interesting! I have no problems whatsoever to buy the stuff that I need and sell the stuff that I do not need. Sure, it might take three or four tries to find an available seller but with the copy and past message from poe.trade this takes just a couple of seconds.

As a seller, on the other hand, I often get a "Hi" as the initial message from a prospective buyer. I have started to ignore those since typically this will not lead to a sale. As long as you post the message from poe.trade you should be fine ...

Your tone is self defeating, but you're right about the trade system being a mess....

The trade system can't be a mess! Why? Because there is no trade system at all!

I sold a item on patch day 2.3.0 , i still get messages for that item even today , up to a total of about 50 pm's now . How long does it take before this is fixed ggg ?

To Trini , i agree with you this trading system is not good , i mean its good that we got the trade tabs compared to the forum shop that was before . If we compare poe ah with d3 auction house it is utterly crap to be honest . d3 ah wins easily no contest .

What is so special with this player interaction ggg absolutely wants us to do ? its like hi , thanks and bye and occasionally gl hf , player leave area/party . Takes 1-2 minutes at most . I have my ingame friends if i wanna talk to people in this game .

D3 ah was bad because of THE REAL MONEY AH and BOTTING . The gold ah was perfectly fine imo . The only downside for rich players ( probably not a downside for majority of playerbase ) is that prices on items gets low . Its happening in poe too even without an ah like d3 .
A d3 ah style ( no real money ) would be a huge upgrade to this game and it would not do any more damage than the trade tabs already does anyway .

A lot of humans become jerks when protected by anonymity. What else is new.

I will always make the trade, but sometimes it may mean the buyer has to wait until I finish lab or a map or find the next waypoint. So far no one has been upset about the wait, although one buyer found another seller while I finished my thing.

Would I prefer an automated trading system? Definitely. It would mean I could also sell items while offline. In an MMORPG I used to play years ago it was always exciting to log in after a few days break and see how much of my stock had sold.

Barter trade didn't evolve into marketplaces and today's economy for no reason. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that players will try to build these superior systems themselves if the game does not provide them.
Working as intended. You are going to a market and asking to buy from people who do not want to sell to you and/or just leave their shops unattended because they dont care about the goods within. If you continue to play Standard, this is your lot in life.
Don't worry! Chris promises an in-game mail system. It has been 5+ years in the making, so I'm pretty sure it will be totally awesome! https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/59
