I am a scammer - Account locked?

I think it would be hilarious if one of the people you scammed somehow hacked your account and deleted your characters and the different IP flagged your account for a lock. That would be hilarious indeed.

:D If that is the case although highly illegal (In the real world) ill tip my hat off to the dedication.


Why bother scamming in POE, having the finest item without any hard work essentially devalued those items and killed your fun. People always complain about RNG, not realising RNG is where you get the fun and excitment.

Ive played EvE for a long time now,have always been into the more seedy activities available - including corp theft and spying.Within the game it is legal and i have used to it my own personal advantage MANY times.
I get scammed in POE,realize it is legal also so I put the information to use for my own personal advantage.

RNG is great fun I agree - so is circumventing 200odd hours by using my brain to get ahead of the curve.

I don't believe the original story, sounds like something someone made up because they are all salty about being scammed and on a crusade to make a point - links to the banned account & reddit thread would back it up though.

I really came to the forum's just to vent my frustration at a lack of communication from supports half.Again if I had a clear indication that acting the dick for a day was going to jeopardize my account
obviously i wouldn't have gone through with it.

I will live with the consequences of course but this cannot be a grey area surely? Scamming is either allowed or not.

Hmm because you are viewing it from another account and have the character tab set to hidden that's why you can only see 2 characters, the rest could all be there. Strange the account doesn't say banned or anything on it.

I wonder what a writing style analyst would say comparing your posts to Monsta's would have to say. Seems like something he would come up with just for the fun of it.

I can't say for sure, but from what I have seen posted by GGG before on "scam" type threads (usually name and shame) I doubt it is acceptable.

That's allowed as well, you know? If you get hacked it's your own fault. That's how PoE rolls.
