[Reddit discusses forums] Chris has now posted

This reddit post turned into a shitstorm of defamation words and honestly show the worse part of PoE's community ( well actualy the worse one was this defamation thread about charan few weeks ago ).

Even if i'm not always agree with some of the spam artists mentioned in it or dislike some attitudes if i have something to tell them i will kindly send them a pm explaining why and if it end to 0 changes i will just ignore them.

See the thing ? It happened already 5 times that i send a pm to some unmentioned players here when i had a problem due to one of their reactions in my threads i absolutely don't see how it's hard for you to just do that and solve the problem in a adult way rather than this shame post.

If you really can't stick with it then just ignore them and keep discussing in the thread you are interested by GGG never denied you from doing that.

So honestly to all players leaving this forum because 3 or 4 players doesn't maintain the ambience you dreamed about i won't regret you and really hope you will stick on reddit or elsewhere.

Condemning their behavior on PoE forum ? think twice about yours.

PoE forum is there to discuss the game - improving it by communication - showing what you are doing ingame etc ... the message you are actualy sending is a whole community failed at handling 4 or 5 players opinions / attitudes and then abandoned forum. NICE ! Proud of you guys. Too much internet for you i guess you have forgot how to live without.

That was my 2 cents before leaving till next 3 months league. Hope to see forum improved for viable reasons.

If the concern or perceived issue is 5-10 posters constantly dominating threads, then the correct response is not to run away.

As a gentle remark, i could simply quote you and post the same one-liner. That's how constructive it is.

Do you think people just quit off the bat? I will give you my own personal anecdote, a certain person riles me up no end with what he posts, the way he posts, the frequency of his posts & due to his presence being in almost every thread going I couldn't read the forum without being subjected to his 'content' on every page, so I tried to ignore him, but he is everywhere, so I try to counter him, but his responses do nothing but to add fuel to the fire, so I get mad and call him out, then I get probated and his posts stay put. So I cool off, come back and it happens again, an again, so I say fuck it and just go to reddit where Chris posts regularly, the latest info is always top spot and the person I can't stand isn't really there.

So what did I do wrong? What is the correct response? Should I still be here butting heads with trollish individuals and getting probations?

I'll give you an example closer to home for you...your signature, I know you know it is cringey and therefore a troll attempt, it's the kind of thing that gets old real fast and while not hugely significant it just makes this place less of a place to visit. Unnecessary.
