I primarily use Reddit but I glance through the posts here most days. for me personally, the only useful section of these forums is Classes/Builds, the rest either don't contain anything useful or contain information that can be found on Reddit. Moreover, 'important' posts aren't littered with mind-numbingly stupid comments and memes.
As far as personalities, both sites have their share of idiots, however, on Reddit, it's much easier to ignore their posts completely and of course, their posts won't be tolerated as easily as they seem to be here. I also believe the forum desperately needs a transformation. It's horribly outdated. |

This has been my home,or at least I've been a part of the brickwork here since 2010 and I'll not so easily abandon it,whether GGG or certain members of the community like it or not.Abandonment is very hard to forgive no matter who did it and that's what I'm left with,a feeling of abandonment by both GGG and bitter ex-forumers (regardless of whether it's warranted or not). If GGG and official forum refugees want "their" forums back and want them to be "the" source of info and A happy helpfull community then "come and get it".Both key GGG devs and disgruntled forum goers made the choice to run rather than stay and fight for their cause,the forums were left in the gutter like an abandoned crown .... and was claimed by those who live in the gutter ..... who's to blame for that,certainly not those claiming the crown. I'd rather see these forums shut down then be subject to the rule and whims of those who abandoned it when the going got tough. So run,let your legs be steel springs that hurl you down the track as fast as a leopard and into the open arms of a safe haven and I'll stay here,my home,where I belong....to whatever end,in the company of those I both love and hate,yet I call family.
