[Reddit discusses forums] Chris has now posted

Well, I tried.

Chris asked why people left.

My answer... cause your moderators went full retard mode. never go full retard.

I was only probated once, maybe twice, but I saw what was getting others probated and it was harsh and scary. So I refrained from using official forums for months, created a 2nd account that now has some of my highest characters for the sole use of posting here ( ta da, guess who I am ) and went elsewhere wraeclast.net, and reddit. All this was done to avoid the probations on my main.

It appears lessons have been learnt, the probation hammers tucked in the belts so to speak, so I'm back. But I still don't use my main on any forums... anonymity is priceless just like the supporter packs.

This whole VP thing I couldn't care less about. But I do like bars no nonsense approach to responding to posts. He has my nomination for VP even though I know it'll be hard for him to stay within the rules while keeping his true but truth hurts very succinct approach to posting.

Not sure what "low quality" means. How you can determinate "high quality" and "LQ" ? For some people one content can appear "HQ", for others the same content can be "LQ".

This should happen often and what downvote is intended to be used for, since it is not "report".

Again, such posts will always be downvoted. Check any other upvote/downvote forum.

At least there will be less redundant posts.

P.S.: At last, but not least, in my opinion, upvote/downvote may be enabled for several forum sections only, but not for whole forum.

That's a great idea, next time when I lose my temper and do my best to inflict psychological damage on someone, it'll lend more weight to my words. I like it.
