But people that have no moral, lying to deceive others for their own gains and keep on scamming people? I will never understand people like that, value or no value. Nor will I understand people defending behavior like that.

The collecting of items/currency - those items and currency can hold a "time to collect" ratio - since I knew automatically people would argue that POE items/currency can't hold a "real life currency" value to them (they do, like it or not) you can still argue that POE items/currency take TIME to collect, so you could say that an Exalted is worth 300 hours TTC ("time to collect") value.

If someone takes your exalt, you most absolutely are losing out on time.

Let's say you're playing chess with someone. The other person exploits your lack of knowledge about the game and moves a pawn ten spaces forward. He decieved you, but you could have checked the rules. It's just a game, it doesn't matter. Now, should the other person forfeit the game just because it's, well, a game? No, s/he shouldn't.

Now, do you get the idea?

There is a valid solution to prevent much of this "scamming" , but thr PoE community isn't strong enough to implement, and GGG couldn't do it themselves. It is just a game, but those players who are virtual jackasses tend to be much the same in real life. Some of the younger ones that are just selfish and immature may grow out of it. At one point in all of our lives, the only person that mattered to us was ourselves.
